exchange.btcpool and cryptopia both are small and not yet established. Hopefully they will do well, but we definitely need 2 major exchanges as neither offer all ofthe coins I hold so I would assume others have the same issue.
We are how many people holding tekcoin We can each one send like 10 coins to one address Then we can make small faucet... rather than solve captcha or seeing advertizing ...then vote in polo This way we can get botcointalk member attention for this Very big idea .. but nothing impossible I report that I have been robbed of all TEK, I have nothing. But I adhere to count when I send something every count it for you. Biggest looser https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320404.msg13451862#msg13451862fire sale at cryptopia. a few sells @50sat. maybe these were your stolen coins being dumped? yes it is possible. One year i stake and now have nothing. Very sorry you were robbed. That is a serious bummer! I guess the only consolation is that with the current market prices, you can be back in to 200,000 TEK for about 1/3 of a bit coin. I know that does nothing to lesson the blow of the robbery, but I hope you are able to take advantage of the current prices and get back into the game. Cheers! sounds like a plan peace

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'm not a big holder but really feel bad for all who lost TEK on cryptsy or were robbed otherwise. Anyone feeling they have no wind in sails left and feel not even interested in buying TEK anymore at all (you feel too down and out), I would like to donate half of my monthly stake for couple months to get you going again. Please pm me.

I have successfully contacted both Polo and Bittrex requesting that they list TEK. Hope you all are doing the same. Cheers.

Probably for most of us. But some of the guys with earlier ASIC devices might make more of a profit mining TEK than BTC in the longer term. Short term, the diff adjustment kicks out multipools real quick

Is there a built in donation address in the tekcoin client where we can donate to for future tekcoin development. If there is all the better. Also good to have tek traded on at least 4 rxchanges to prevent over reliance like what happened when cryptsy fell. The four should also be leading exchanges and not listed in one jurisdiction alone.

Short term, the diff adjustment kicks out multipools real quick I had success mining Digibyte when the difficulty was really low, then selling it on an exchange, then buying into TEK. I ended up with far more Tek then if I had just mined TEK. I have not done any SHA-256 mining in a while, but there is likely some coin out there that mines more efficiently then TEK, then just work the exchanges.

Diffiulty really shot up once Cryptsy stopped all action, wonder why... Super annoying. I think once we get this coin up on more exchanges, ppl will go back to trading it rather than only staking, and difficulty will go back down. Getting Tek on Poloniex should be every Tek holders #1 priority right now. If we make enough noise over there, they will list it. Bittrex is the other exchange where we should try and get it listed, but lets shoot for Polo first and foremost. It takes 2 minutes, maybe less since I make it easy for you. Just go to the following link and fill it out:
https://poloniex.com/coinRequest
Then simply copy/paste the following large bold text in the corresponding places on the coin request form:Name of coin: TekcoinCoin's symbol: TEKLink to announcement page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320404.msg3429417#msg3429417Coin's website: http://www.tekcoin.org/Link to the coin's block explorer: http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/TEK/index.phpThen explain why you would like to see this coin added to Poloniex: DO NOT COPY/PASTE THE FOLLOW, IT'S AN EXAMPLE: Try to write something thoughtful, like: Adding this coin to Poloniex will undoubtedly bring new users. Aside from bringing in new users, Tekcoin maintains a steady and reliable trade volume that will benefit Poloniex, people like to trade it. Tekcoin is also very useful as a cryptocurrency with fast transactions and a highly secure network, it benefits the crypto community as a whole to have this added to Poloniex. Also, plans are in the works to create more uses for this coin. The Tekcoin developer cares about the future of crypto and maintains an active role in the community as well as the growth of Tekcoin.Specific innovations:This coin's innovations are in the secure nature of being a proof of stake coin with high incentives for users to stake. Then, just add your Poloniex username, select "no" where it asks if you are the developer - unless you are - and click submit! This is super easy and will benefit this coin more than anything else will right now, so get on it people!

Polo does, on average, 10x more volume than Bittrex.

Agreed! I was pushing for Polo in particular because of the volume. I also thought it best to aim for one at a time to have a better chance of making it happen. Then again, the shotgun approach works too. If everyone submits a coin request to Polo, it will likely get listed there. If everyone submits a request to all three exchanges, all the better! Tek will get on more exchanges, that much is certain. For now, I'm stacking cheap Tek!!!
