I think that's not surprising, because korea is a country that most of the people are bitcoin users. a good move the Korean government will use crypto as a means of transaction, will facilitate and prosper its society.

News :

According to the Korea Times, the two partners will work together to bring cryptocurrencies to 6,000 outlets by the first half of the year, with a planned expansion to 8,0000 by the end of the year. Furthermore, some 200 franchise brands are also reportedly signing onto the initiative, enabling cryptocurrency adopters to use Pay’s mobile payment service platform to make payments in cryptocurrencies.

slowly began to emerge state countries that use Crypto
Great, this is the best news of the day. It made me forget tiredness and anxiety in the days of crypto market decline seriously. I hope this can have a positive impact on the value of bitcoin and the crypto market in the near future. cryptocurrency will be a comprehensive destination for the future with the ability to perfectly meet the payment methods of businesses, shops and agents.

South Korea takes the lead, with Japan trailing behind. A narrow margin separates the two technology giants. Good to know Asian countries are leading the way.

Are you kidding me? Nothing comes even close to the progress of Japan in terms of crypto. Japan is much more open minded than South Korea, and the gap between them is only growing larger. That being said, I never get to see any actual usage figures of merchants or payment processors when it comes to crypto payments, which is a shame. I don't count on massive usage numbers, especially so because people aren't really that interested to spend their coins, but a rough indication would be appreciated. It would help pointing out whether usage is picking up or declining on merchant level. In the same way, that applies to BTM's as well. The only thing you hear is that new ones are being installed, and people online complain about the insane fees....

Not for the first time I hear that Korea is doing good business and this action confirms once again my good attitude to this country and their affairs.

South Korean culture is fascinating and I actually enjoy it a lot. There's a lot of respect in Asian countries... they're not perfect though.

I hope this is not some merchant service where they accept Bitcoin and then dump it to fiat immediately, although that is probably the first step. Have to start somewhere.

South Korer are always very forward thinking in design and ongoing technical aspirations, most of the top level products come out of Korea, and also emerging tech - I hope the world can look upon Korea as a leader and one as a whole to learn from.

This is the type of news we have been waiting for during these last few horrible bearish months. People thought Korea was going to ban crypto currency so the mass sell off began, now we see they are moving towards mass adoption. Time for the bull market to start!

This is great, more merchants are adapting into digital currencies making one of their payment options in selling and providing service. This kind of news is what BTC and other crypto currencies needed to be globally recognized which could result to another bull run for this year. I hope more news like this will come out and not just some repetitive negative news trying to kill crypto.

Well as everyone can see, Korea has always been ahead of the game. They were and will be the top volume for trading of cryptocurrencies. Businessmen to teens are trading Bitcoin. No wonder stores have already started accepting Bitcoin as payment.

I think this is very amazing, 6000 is a huge number and I think so many Koreans who are into bitcoins are so happy and blessed to belong in this country. Oh how I wish that in my country all shops will also be as open as Korea.

Asia countries are best when it comes to adoption of new and modern technology and the asians make up a large portion of the cryptocurrency market. I am not surprised to hear this.
