Im looking for a free or low cost trading bot for BTC-e with easy install instructions. The bot must have been tested and proven working and not a scam

You may try Cryptrade tool.

Features
- Support of 130+ trading indicators provided by Ta-lib library
- Compatible with Cryptotrader.org API that allows to run any of existing algorithms right from the command line.

Why would someone open up a free trading bot if it made money? Just ask your self.

- as an advert for cryptrade.org premium hosted bot and price data service
- to contribute to the price stability of bitcoin by helping speculation
