Hello,

my system HD is near to be full, but I have a lot of space on my second HD. Is it possible to save the app/roaming/bitcoin data in d:\ instead of c:\ ?
(using windows 7)

You can use the "-datadir=<directory>" option to do this.

(I think it needs to be specified as a command line option)

Or just create a link to the directory?

You can also put "datadir=<directory>" in your bitcoin.conf file
Still, it looks slightly better to have a shortcut (not in bitcoin-qt folder) specifing the datadir parameter, not altering the .conf, and to keep an empty wallet.dat file in the default location.
I did that hoping it would trick some poorly coded bitcoin specific malwares.
