You seemed confused enough that I am getting confused too. I mean the bitcoin address.

When you made your freebitco.in account you needed to use a bitcoin address, which presumably links to a bitcoin wallet that you have access to. That is the "profile address". The option to withdraw from to your profile address appears when you click "WITHDRAW", then click on the blue text that says "use profile address". Using the same bitcoin address as the one you registered on the site with will not trigger an email confirmation, but automatically send you your BTC.

If don't have access to the address of the bitcoin wallet you registered with, then that's a problem and you should not withdraw to that address.

In any case it is not possible that the deposit address is the same as the profile address (unless you/the site are being hacked again??).

And concerning all that you said about the profile address and so, that's completely right based on how I myself understand it as well.
But also, no one should make the mistake of withdrawing to their profile address if they no longer  have access to that address, like myself, I join freebitco in 2016, and I've long lost access to the bitcoin address I used during registration, can't even remember if I wrote the keys to that address down and stored it somewhere, and assuming I did, I also can not get even a hint at where I could have stored it  

lmao, I just tried my own suggestion and clicking on "use profile address" actually doesn't seem to work anymore... this website is a becoming a perfect example of how even digital things apparently rust and decay slowly... I suggest you copy your profile address from MORE->PROFILE->CHANGE WITHDRAWAL ADDRESS and use that, if clicking the blue text doesn't work.

Freebitco have served the bitcoin and cryptocurrency community very good, I personally feel that their time and work in this space is done a long time ago.
The developers should have considered closing the site and venturing into their next field of interest a long time ago, but it's unfortunate they continue to exists, yet, allow good features decay when it should be getting improved as the tech market grows..
Anyways, let see what happens in the coming months.

The default profile address is the one you use to deposit on free bitcoin and I didn’t change that ever..when I withdraw I just change the address on the withdraw page and that’s it that’s what I’ve been doing for years..I didn’t forget an address or so

PS the site now has a bad gateway error 502 cloudflare or something like that…definitely not a problem from me

It was earlier ok but just now it was navigating various pages but just doing an endless spin on the faucet.  History under multiply didnt show anything either so I presume its not just a page error or in the display, lag etc.

Same here. I tried twice but they wouldn't send any confirmation emails and cancelled withdrawals.
I opted for Auto withdrawal which is supposed to take place every Sunday, for which there are no confirmation links (I assume). Let's see if that helps.

Just a quick update, I received my auto-withdrawal this morning, so if people are still struggling to withdraw due to confirmation emails not coming through - you could try just to opt for auto-withdrawal.

And I guess it's a good sign and it could mean that all the issues are just a technical problems and (hopefully temporary) lack of customer support rather than owner(s) running away with money.
I hope to see things going back to normal.

I am pretty sure that if you instant withdraw using the profile address you do not need to receive a confirmation email and so the withdrawal should go through without problems.

This seems to have worked for me. Ill know for sure in about 15 minutes. Instead of freezing like usual i used the profile address and it went through. It did not ask for me to click the email link. Just said it would be there in 15 min. This is much better than what was happening so i have faith!=) Ty for letting us know how it worked for you.

Just a quick update, I received my auto-withdrawal this morning, so if people are still struggling to withdraw due to confirmation emails not coming through - you could try just to opt for auto-withdrawal.

You don't have to go for auto withdrawal, if you want to make a withdrawal to your profile address and you don't receive authorization emails.
Note that you don't need to confirm your withdrawal via email if you want to make a withdrawal to your profile address. So, withdrawal to your profile address should work even if you use slow or instant options.

I am sorry, but by deposit address you mean the address you use to deposit money INTO freebitco.in? How could you possibly have made an account using that address (which would have not been known to you before making the account) ?

If you notice now that the deposit and the withdrawal address are indeed the same it probably means that the website is being hacked again (or if you believe the freebitcoin PR, your computer is compromised: it has a virus). Tell me, does that address start with a 1, a 3, or something else?


At this point, I suggest you enable the auto withdrawal and wait until Sunday. This will send you the money to your original, true profile address, not the hacked one.

I am on IOS so no virus..and yes the profile address is the same as the deposit address I never changed it since I’ve opened the account several years ago and never got a single problem and now even the site is not working anymore

IF THE WITHDRAW ADDRRESS IS THE SAME AS THE DEPOSIT ADDRESS, YOU/THE WEBSITE ARE BEING HACKED. THAT ADDRESS IS FAKE. IN CASE YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL DO NOT CONFIRM IT!!

Can you check from your bitcoin wallet app that the address is actually an address you control?

It’s the address of the deposit which I am using for years…always had this address and always deposited on it I am not hacked or something…the problems comes from them not from me ..if I was hacked I could change something of the account on the site but can’t…and now the site is off

shield132 already did contact Dplay support and they said that there is no connection between freebitco and Dplay and they are only partners.

Yes but teoretically you can deposit on dplay with freebitcoin…so if someone has balance on freebitcoin they can deposit on dplay I just saw the option there
