At least the FUN token went up in value but it could be a speculation (happened literally just now).

Faucets don't have to shut down but have to adjust to the new conditions, that's better than shutting down - they can do it, just need to issue a statement or something and in the long run most members would be happy with it.

Today, the price to sell FUN Token in freebitco.in has doubled from the one in previous days which had a number of unusual movements whith the particularity of having gone until 1/3 of today's price - you can read these variations between 1 and 3 satoshi along the bottom line of the historial of this coin. Imho, the option to buy/sell FUN tokens directly on the Freebitcoin site is useless due to the spread being so large. By the way, it's surprising that FUN tokens started to pump sharply. The FUN token price has increased more than 4 times in the last month, and the daily trading volume is already more than $50 million. I'm even wondering why this is happening, as the reason is obviously not in Freebitcoin.

The current selling price is 7 sats and buying price is 5 sats. The spread is fine I guess.
Its interesting to see that the price has increased in these days. To be honest, I didn't think the price will increase again.
May be the recent pump could be because of the bull market but I don't think the price will ever cross 10 sats.

It's not. Those values mean that the buy price is now 40% higher than the sell price. That's a very big spread.
It seems that everything is done automatically and the buy price is set to be always 2 sat higher than the sell price. That may be acceptable if the price is 100 sat or more, but not when price is too low.

Odds are 50/50, the doom scenario or the scenario where they implement the spins fix and all is good once more.   Diametric paths of destiny, who knows or just a normal blip or outage also less dramatical is the boring possibility I'll ignore.

On the spread count I'll once again refer to other markets and just say they could in theory do a reverse split which means you have the same spread possibly but with a price 100 times higher for example.
   The change in actual value would be negligible because it means 100x less tokens total.   However I might be dreaming on that one and its only possible with a completely centralised register and this is not feasible here so not so neatly possible to do.
  In percentage terms the spread I recognize it is a problem and will further detract from free trading, liquidity etc.

I can get the site to load if I can go via a site checker, to some extent its live but the fault would be secondary in some way.   Someone smart will explain better.

Same with https://freebitco.in/static/html/dplay_connect.html but notice the /static/ in these URLs.  They're just HTML pages that aren't being processed/built in some way by the server before delivery.

A 500 error would be most likely from code on the server used in generating the page running into an error.

For instance, if you try to access the homepage in a browser where you are not previously logged in, you'll get sent to the login screen. So, it's probably some issue with a database query that is tied to the user ID.  But who knows.

It's just an error being hit that is in code that only runs for a logged in user.  If they are making database changes, for instance, this could cause this kind of problem.

It's not a sign of anything sinister.  It's not a sign of anything at all, other than that there is an error happening on the server when some code is being run that only runs when you are logged in.  It's also why those /static/ pages are fine, since they are static.  (I think they rely only on data stored in cookies/localStorage)
