I've been gambling a bit for years, but recently I've made some great earnings, so I wanted to withdraw, and my payout is pending. I saw that it has to be reviewed manually, so I did some research since I've never seen this message in the past, and I came across this thread and read all the recent complaints. Should I be worried?

As far as I know, they sometimes flag withdrawals to be reviewed manaully if they find them suspicious or there's the probability of the user abusing the website with bots or multiple accounts.

So I think I shouldn't worry that much and just wait.
Do they respect the 24 hours delay they announce ? Do we have any case here where a user couldn't withdraw BTC ?

I find that a bit weird to panic like that if the delay announced of 24 hours hasn't even expired to be honest. If you have made big winnings and you're about to withdraw a large amount it's normal to get a manual review. They seem to have undergone some attacks during last months, especially attacks on customer side so they won't let someone making a large withdrawal withtout reviewing it. You wouldn't be happy if a hacker had been able to quietly withdraw all your balance IMO. Their "review" usually takes several days, less than one week though.

Withdrawals are eventually processed, what happens is that sometimes they take a long time, sometimes they take less time, and there doesn't seem to be a criterion. Even if you request a fast withdrawal it can take a week, which is no way to operate a site of this calibre.

The real problem is with the FUN tokens, which seem not to be processing withdrawals at all for weeks now.

As you stated, having to wait for withdrawals is something a website of this stature should not be experiencing therefore I am surprised their website was not forced to close. Instead, it has been ongoing even though their customers have faced huge amounts of problems on their platform for a long time.

Now, they are selling tickets for round 12, but the winner of round 11 hasn't been announced yet.
So, they should have given 10 lambos/$200,000 worth of bitcoin.

Freebitco's lotteries are provably fair and they have no control over the winning ticket number.

Maybe that provably fair part along with their loyal customer base is the reason why they are still active. If they really have given 10 Lamborghini cars in prizes, that is something exceptional but it cannot negate the negativities surround what has become of their website now.

Of course because if you promise that you are going to give 10 lambos, through your respective draws, what you have to do is to give them. Not giving them would be illegal, it would be cheating people.

This means that their forms of withdrawal: “Auto” “slow” and “instant” do not make sense because of what has been said and because there have sometimes been delays even in withdrawals of low amounts. They could put a notice saying that due to hacker attack withdrawal processing times may vary, or something like that. But we already know that communication with customers has been practically null for almost a year now.

And you did not mention that some users have had theirs waiting for manual review for more than 24 hours, I've come across a user here who complained about having waited for 44 hours without his withdrawal processed.

But then, the goodnews (atleast for now) is that, no matter how long it takes for the manual review, withdrawals are always end that end processed without any further issues as long as the process through which the money is won is legitimate.
So, who ever has their withdrawal under manual review should not panic, but wait patiently, give it five days at most, withdrawal should be processed before then.

I think he is regretting of withdrawing that amount, if he had that amount, he would be earning regular interest on it and also getting the ticket for WOF. He did it two years ago when there was not such a big issue as it is now. Had he kept that amount in freebitco till now, he would have earn quite lot of money and who knows WOF could have changed his fortune.

Anyways, right now I think he should not regret it because things aren't that good, it's better to withdraw now when the withdrawals are still being processed.

Wow, 22,000 satoshis is worth about 20$ right now. Imagine, being really active in the beginning and claiming every hour and still holding all your satoshis. I have been on the site for a couple of years, but highest I could claim per hour was about 100 satoshis.

This was the first Bitcoin website I signed up and the first faucet I claimed. I got around 300 to 400 satoshis per hourly claim as far as I remember. It was around 0,39$ to 0,40$ in current Bitcoin's rates. For long term purposes, it was totally worthy to claim from faucets like freebitco.in. Few people held for the future, although I guess most people just gambled every satoshis away as soon as they accumulated a few thousands.

With a decent list of websites, it was pretty easy and enjoyable to make 0.001BTC per faucet run in a matter of an hour or two. No intrusive pop-ups, malwares and annoying captchas or anti bot links. But it was a long time ago, and just like those times, freebitco.in is already a relic of the past.

Crypto industry has been constantly changing and freebitco.in didn't adapt itself to the changes. Anything unable to adapt itself to the environment's demands is doomed to extinction.

Thank you for your feedback, it's important and very useful for other users. It's nice to learn the platform is back to quick delays for withdrawals including manually reviewed ones. I think I will make one soon, because Bitcoin is currently high and I don't need to keep a such large bank roll in dollar value even if the 4.9% APY are still interesting IMO.

I have major concerns concerning the future of the site. If withdrawing FUN and/or BTC isn't working properly, that means the end could be near. If a shut down and rug pull of the oldest crypto faucet site ought to occur, the chances of a huge major lawsuit would loom. There are still many people active in the faucet site, mostly gambling.

I have been using Freebitco.in for several years now and haven't got any problems since (except for the extra FUN bug two years ago that led me to gain some BTC on the sell).
