Just received my FUN after 3 months of locked funds. Sold the interest generated for BTC and withdrew the funds from the platform without issues in normal time. So far these features are still working. Locked FUN for another month to see how it goes. Frustrating to sell FUN for 4 satoshis, though.

Let's see for how long it's going to be possible to make this little source of passive income still work.

I do not know how many FUN tokens you have but it makes no sense to sell them now. The best bet you can make here is to keep these token with you till the Q3 or Q4 of this year and hope to see a bull season / Altcoin season where every coin pumps and FUN token may also show some strength in those days.

I am saying this is a gamble because freebitco site has problems, may disappear from the scene, anything can happen. So if you are willing to take risk, keep holding FUN for next few months and see how the things unfold.

I doubt this is a good move considering how bad the current situation of the website ow with poor communication. A miracle pump is almost impossible anytime soon unless FUN tokens will announce something big that will break the current uncertainty.

What’s your current ROI since you start your investment and what’s your daily interest? It might better to cut loss now instead of losing it all without salvaging part of your original investment while you still have a chance.

I would chose the option 2 IMO. As far as i gathered, FUN is tied to FBC and the "crew" around it. So if those projects are failing, FUN will fail as well.
Bitcoin on the other hand will hopefully grow and grow. So should be a no brainer, atleast from my POV

Well, you both are right, we are often advised never to marry a shitcoin, this is a mistake I personally have made in alot of Altcoin investments, and I paid with my money and sweat for it.

One thing very common with most Altcoins is that rarely do we see a failing or already failed Altcoin get revived again, and the reason for this is because investors who abandoned that Altcoin have moved on and its hard to get them to come back and invest again, it's like going back to one's vomit.

So, if I really hold fun token, alot of it, I will not think wise about selling it off to save what is left, find other place to invest the money and hopefully regain what I've lost, for right now, it's uncertain if fun token will ever recover again.

500k FUN tokens at the price of 30 satoshis each was 0.15 BTC and the current selling price on freebitco.in is 4 satoshis.
That is nearly 87% drop in price and surely a significant loss but on the other hand 500k FUN tokens at 4 sats is still 0.02 BTC.
0.02 BTC is still a pretty good amount for many of us and can buy us some good things. It's still your choice though.
I just gave a look and found that there are still more than 6 billion FUN tokens locked on the site and I was quite surprised with that.

I stopped counting, but I made around 20% ROI. Daily profit was being smoothly generated by the beginning of 2024 through extra BTC interest (0,022% daily), but I had to cashout all my funds due to the uncertainity involving the platform's safety, as it became just too risky to keep considerable sums of Bitcoin deposited on the website.

Now with the last FUN's sale, 73972 satoshis were profited, over 18493 FUN generated for locking funds during 3 months.

Considering my initial investment was 0.14611140BTC, as I already had some FUN on the account to complete a total amount of 500,000 FUN, the sale above corresponds to 0,50% ROI.

That is a massive stock and I understand your reasoning to hold it a little longer in the hopes the prize would jump up a bit. It can always happen but I sold all of my stock (17,000 FUN tokens) some time ago (with a loss offcourse) to make sure I still got some BTC for it as withdrawals are still being processed normally.

There is a chance that an artificial pump will be launched over FUN but how will you be able to use that pump? I've seen artificial FUN pumps on Binance and luckily I have used one for my own benefit but the problem is that FUN pump doesn't last long, it only lasts for a few seconds and in order to use the advantage of those seconds, you should open an order on Binance and if you are lucky, your order will be fulfilled.
At the moment you can sell one fun token for 0.00000004 BTC. To be fair, I don't think it will ever reach 0.00000030 BTC, that's why I suggest you to move your funds to Binance with the hope of an artificial pump where your order will be included.

You can always buy back when everything is back to normal or at least secure part of your investment and leave some FOMO holdings if you don’t want to missed out when this casino suddenly show some life on fixing their problems.

It’s not a wise a decision if you keep staking without getting the premium which your holdings main feature that makes you decide to invest on their token.

There’s a lot of investment opportunities out there that can give a decent APY even it’s not equal to the interest offer by this casino.

Buy back in my opinion is also not a good choice, because a token that has fallen very deep is difficult to survive because it requires a stable and big trading volume for the exchange to keep this token listed on their platform.
I checked on CMC the daily trading volume is around 2 million dollars, and has increased by around 50% of its volume today, if it decreases and CEX delists this token then it is a big loss for investors, even though this casino is improving but only being able to trade in the casino is quite risky for the price to be zero.

The casino is working more poorly than well, and to say it's improving when it's been stumbling around for about 10 months seems strange to me. There are times when some things work better than others, for example, since the problems started there have been periods when withdrawals have mostly been processed on time. But that doesn't indicate anything because then there were problems again and long delays in withdrawals.

Despite that, there's still a huge volume on it. The trend is going down and it's still listed on huge exchanges so maybe someone who holds a lot of it is considering those factors.

You don't have to take such comments serious since it's certain that not every one is active here like most of us is, some persons were last here when the whole issue began, when things were way worser than it currently is, like those days when people deposit weren't credited and withdrawals were sent to a different wallet away from the wallet the user provided for his funds to be sent to, during this time, there were way more complains on this thread, making things seemingly worst for this casino back then.

But as of today, all those are in the past tense, and for someone who was last active on this thread back then who comes on here today may possibly assume or believe that things have improved with the casino, and logically speaking, they may be right in their own understanding because like I explained before about the deposit and withdrawal issues, the site is better today in that aspect.

Wow, that’s a pretty massive stock you’ve got. I understand now the dilemma but I will stick my initial suggestion to just cut loss and retain some FOMO investment if you can.

I learned this lesson on the 2017 altcoin bullrun which those altcoin that becomes dead after the bullrun stays dead for real that makes all my massive stock turns into a pile of useless tokens.

I think both options aren't worth accepting. First the options of selling fun tokens now and buy back later doesn't make sense because if the freebitco comes back to normal state the price of fun token will rise. So it is like selling at low price and buying at a higher price. Yes, you can sell, quit this project in a loss and look for other Oppurtunites.

Now, the 2nd option to continue staking may or may not be good. If the amount in question is very high and can be invested elsewhere, why not ? But then selling now means you are not willing to give it a try (hold) till the bull season which is so near now.

On an internal basis it might look better as they put in captcha, maybe the site encounters less fraud something like that.   We dont get to see their internal ratios like a public company might report their accounts for analysis etc.     Externally we all seem to have a dim view from missing wheels spins and other ongoing apparent failure, so easily we can reflect the market premium for this token is really negative.

If it came back to normal I'd guess double or triple maybe and they say buy when theres blood on the street but maybe a volcano opens up next, its all relative.   There is a yield of some kind, quite a few other alt coins or tokens have nothing at all which is an even harder road to walk surely.

My outlook for BTC is positive above 90k, positive might be flat and boring I dont know what shade of positive it might be but I cant take any negative view if we are just slow in this area.  Below 90k would need more looking at but mostly BTC is positive on every time frame following its prior doubts reversal.   Bet for month end price I dont actually know, I reckon after 20th I'll slip in a quick guess for fun (bad pun ) but mostly this is a 'sleeper' move.

I don't really think it's worth to invest in FUN tokens.
Each token was worth around $0.03 at February 01, 2021, when it became available for buying on freebitco and now it costs only $0.0045. That's around 85% decrease (and even more if we consider the FUN/BTC pair).

The decrease in FUN token price isn't only due to the issues now going on with freebitco and that's why I don't expect to see a significant recovery in FUN price even if the issues are solved. The issues with freebitco started in May 2024 when FUN token price was around 0.005$. This means that the FUN token had its crash when everything on freebitco was working well.
