House edge at this site is huge but what surprised me most was lottery house edge. Last week 500 million Tickets have been sold and all rewards together were 2.5 bit coins more or less. Taking more than 40% from sold lottery tickets Is stealing money, not even regulated lotteries are taking so much money.
You have to take in to consideration that some significant amount of tickets comes from free rolls. How many? I dont know, probably only wetsuit does. But shouting theft is not fair, if you ask me. However there is some truth in your words, yet nobody is forcing you to take part in this lottery. You can even disable it and benefit from higher ratio of reward points. I guess we need more stats, never to much stats, i like stats  |

is there going to be a celebration or event for this 10M members achievement? perhaps a 10x RP for the whole week event... or maybe a 1000% free roll bonus for the whole day...  I know freebitco.in is a faucet but I'm pretty sure the multiply btc (gambling) part of the site generate good amount income for wetsuit |

This is a huge members list and I don't think any other gambling sites or faucet sites got so many members. Still, admin manages this site very well by providing payments to members on time without any issues. |

And there it is, over 10 million members now. Wow, amazing! Number of Freebitco.in users growing so fast. I check these stats sometimes and I think that number of registered users almost doubled this year. I agree with user Thirdspace above, it would be nice if Freebitco.in would run promotion by giving more reward points or lottery tickets. We need to celebrate this achievement! |

Thanks for the responses. I have been posting regarding the discrepancy in the exchange rates . Now that you brought it up here , let me re-question your rates. 1. Why are you giving the customers a ridiculously low exchange rate ( 40% lower than the current market rates ) ? ( .032(market rate) v/s 0.019 (your rate) Note : rates today = 0.032 BTC / BTG ( as on Nov 22 0400 UTC - source : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-gold/) 2. Why have you pegged the rate at a constant 0.019 BTC/BTG when market exchange prices are not ? We offered the BTG exchange on Nov 20th in the early morning, at the time BTG was worth BTC0.015. So we actually offered the BTG conversion at a rediculously high 30% greater than market value. Since that time BTG has doubled in value, maybe on our news (?!). We're not a currency exchange, we don't offer dynamic conversion rates for alternative currencies. What we do is honor hard fork airdrops for our members and daily interest on balanced, which is more than every other Bitcoin wallet in existence! 3. When you enable the BTG transfer to other wallet , are you going to charge for the transfer?
This feature is being developed as we speak. I can't give a definite availability date yet, but it's coming...and we don't bullshit around about these announcements. The cost of the transfer will be the transaction fees assessed by the miners, as is customary for any blockchain transaction. We don't add our own fee on top. Good questions. |

How many percent is the active users? The number of registered users is not that special, because I believe there are so many user creating multi accounts. I have seen on facebook group, one user could have 10-20 accounts on their mobile phone by using clone browser applications. Not really sure if those people is still actively abusing the faucet or not. |

I would be curious to know how they can claim 10 or 20 times with different accounts as the website detects IP addresses and don't allow more than one free roll per IP. VPN use can lead to a ban of the account as well. |

That is incorrect. The UK National Lottery, for example, takes 50% out. Also, you rather neglect to consider how much Freebitco.in gives away. The vast majority of those lottery tickets are given away free through free rolls and referrals. The site actually runs the lottery at a loss. Since adverts were removed the higher than normal house edge is what funds all the things that freebitco.in gives away. |

I really like this site because it's legit. Even though I am still confused with the lottery
What is so confusing about lottery? It is very simple, after buying tickets you have to wait for weekly draw which is every Sunday. Tickets are randomly picked, you can find somewhere in this thread how lottery provably system works. |
