they will put more effort into defeating the systems we've developed Yes I think maybe they are there saying well if I spend 6 hours coding the bot to navigate this junction on the website I will get this pay out and its worth it to me. That is definitely part of it. Bots never get frustrated but bot operators do. We can't reverse the reductions and restrictions because they forced the bots to change their behaviour and wager to increase the rewards. We were then able to adjust the requirements to make it -EV for them. That's why the 'you got rid of the bots now please put the rewards back and remove the restrictions' argument doesn't work. |

If the botnet problem has been resolved, is there a plan to return all the rules like last year ?
no restrictions on reward points and no prize reduction in free rolls
or will the rules remain like now ?
Those rules are part of how we got rid of a lot of them. Making it a -EV game for them means there is no incentive. If we put all the incentives back they will put more effort into defeating the systems we've developed.
Now I'd like some ideas from you. Part of making it a -EV game for botters was that we didn't pay the last persistent botter the lottery winnings last week. That means we've got a load of coins we want to distribute to genuine users. The idea I had was to add it to next weeks lottery prize pool to make it a super large payout. Any other suggestions? Oh, I see it means that you do not really get rid of them the last 2 weeks they took the lottery prize very prominently if you add a lottery prize last week to next week it's actually a good idea and surely many users are happy but if you do that maybe the botnet will come back by randomizing the portion of the lottery ticket ownership for example, last week they dominated with ownership of tickets around 25,000 and that caused you and the team to detect them then to avoid being detected from you, they will randomize the portion of the lottery ticket to be irregular I think you should save the lottery prize coin last week and distribute it after normal conditions if I could, I would give an idea to really get rid of them but maybe I can't because I don't know exactly how botnets work. |

Last week free rolls have been at 50% of the peak number and wagering volume stayed the same. Having said that there is a big spike in new signups in the last 2 days so they are trying again. There's a lot more to the way we've stopped them than I'm going to talk about here (I know they read my posts with interest) and I think most of those new accounts will get banned very quickly. What I'm saying is if we undo the changes we've made in terms of reductions and restrictions then we'll just go back to square 1. They only started playing the lottery because we made it very difficult for them to get to minimum withdrawal before we detected them. the last 2 weeks they took the lottery prize very prominently

There's a lot more to detecting them than just how many tickets they have. Now they know that we're not going to pay them if they win the lottery I don't think they'll want to try that again. It is hard to find them sometimes in amoungst 15 million accounts but it is very easy to manually inspect 10 accounts. |

Good news to hear from one of the best faucet sites in the world. I want to say the best, but maybe there are others I don't know about. I still play on this now and then. I know the faucet amount is small and I will need hundreds of days to make up the percentage bonus, so it's not what I play for here now. I want to be like those lucky people who only get 2 tickets and then win the jackpot haha. By the way, it must be a few times that people win things and never claim them. I think he meant not withdrawn. You can turn auto withdraw off if you want to. Also, we changed the signup procedure so you don't have to give a Bitcoin address anymore so there isn't an address to withdraw to unless you set one. I'm sure there are millions of accounts that only had one or two spins and have been abandoned but we can't know someone won't come back so it doesn't really matter. |

Not that I know of. When I was too busy to keep up with what was going on in Bitcoin I left auto withdraw turned on, my referral link in my signature here and when I came back 2 years later I found 0.22 in my wallet. |

Not that I know of. When I was too busy to keep up with what was going on in Bitcoin I left auto withdraw turned on, my referral link in my signature here and when I came back 2 years later I found 0.22 in my wallet. Lol that's a nice turning back moment  . Thanks for answering my question. For the load of coins that you have over and that you want to give to genuine users. Why not increase the interest rate for 1 week for example? |

I just want to say how impressed I am to see the lottery entries so low again. It shows how well you were able to find and take action on the bots. As far as suggestions go, I think it would be cool to somehow have additional winning players with the spare lottery funds. Maybe an announced, shorter lottery period one time. Like tickets are only sold for two days and then draw? |

And you have to BUY the tickets and 70% of the revenue goes to increase the lottery fund (doing it as a 2 day weekend thing) and allowing people to redeem them in reward points maybe to make it more competitive? And it is impressive to see wetsuits antibot system working. They won't all be gone but a lot will  . |

I bet it's huge! Yes its always fun finding hidden treasures. Basically reminds me of Dec 2017-Jan 2018 when BTC and alts were going crazy. Out of boredom I decided to go on check on my old pool credentials from pools I used years ago to mine BTC, LTC, ETH, etc. Turns out on some pools I've had payouts as low as 0.09 BTC or so that were never sent because it was below the threshold. Same with LTC and ETH. When I mined those years ago, if I had like 0.50 LTC, I would of just left it because it was only a few dollars but during the peak, it was worth alot. Same as going thru my old BTC wallet.dat files, I've had so many with dust. Basically if I had like 1.00235 BTC, i've sent the 1 BTC and left the 0.00235 BTC because BTC was so low back then that it wasn't worth the effort to type out the 0.00235 BTC however at $20K a coin that dust is over $40 at one point. |

In the 4+ years of playing I actually won 3rd place a few months ago. Seeing the results last week, I thought I was one of the winner's but I was 10million out on my ID. Great news that the botting has been stopped. Increases the chances for a second win With the additional funds that's been held back, a super draw would be a good idea. Or a range drawing for active user IDs (1-9999, 10000-99999 etc) / based on a user id deposit or spend. |

How about splitting the Lottery into a draw for "older" accounts and then a draw for "new" accounts. These bots have to continuously have to re-register "new" accounts to go undetected, so if you split the lottery into 2 separate Lotteries, then the bots will only be effective in the "new" Lottery and the "old" loyal users can have their own Lottery with much less bots having a influence on the outcome? The users can even be given a choice, where they want to buy tickets. Just put a little disclaimer on the "new" lottery that chances are higher that this lottery would be infiltrated by bots.  |
