How about splitting the Lottery into a draw for "older" accounts and then a draw for "new" accounts. These bots have to continuously have to re-register "new" accounts to go undetected, so if you split the lottery into 2 separate Lotteries, then the bots will only be effective in the "new" Lottery and the "old" loyal users can have their own Lottery with much less bots having a influence on the outcome? The users can even be given a choice, where they want to buy tickets. Just put a little disclaimer on the "new" lottery that chances are higher that this lottery would be infiltrated by bots.  Bots are actually exist since the first days of freebitcoin, at least I know there were many people abusing freebitcoin by creating many accounts to claim the free btc. If those old abusers are not banned yet, the split wont be effective as old users does not mean loyal users. Instead of splitting the lottery, it is better if freebitcoin find a better system to avoid those bots so bots wont be able to join the lotteries. Or simply make a new requirement for the lottery, accounts should be older than xx days or account should have at least wagered xx amount on the hilo games or other requirement to minimize the bots. |

Very unlikely they survived that long. Instead of splitting the lottery, it is better if freebitcoin find a better system to avoid those bots so bots wont be able to join the lotteries.

A lot of the people have been playing the Lottery for months and they have not won a single Satoshi. It will be a good incentive to give them some kind of bonus to reward their loyalty. In my country, our Lottery has a lot more small winners at the bottom end of the prizes, so there are always some kind of hope for these people that they would win something bigger in the future, when they win small prizes at the bottom. It is just human nature to eventually stop trying, if you never win a single prize for years.  Albert Einstein said, “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" - I guess the crazy people like myself have been ideal examples of his theory. At least I win a very small amount of money in my local Lottery, so I get some kind of reward to incentivize me to keep on trying for the big jackpot. |

That's true of all the big lotteries. I'll put that on the list of long-term suggestions but I don't think it will work as a way of giving away this bag of loot. It'll just attract more bots for the week we do it as it will be a big +EV event. |

It's pretty hard to find a good and "fun" way to distribute the remaining coins.
I think 20 winners is a good idea, like maybe have 2 winners for each price point.
Or you just redistribute the winnings for the bots to the other lottery ticket owners of that week, a re-raffle.

That was my first idea then I realised that with the ticket database being full of bots we would just end up with another set of cheats winning. |

What about a lottery by deposit in a certain period or have you found that the bots deposited? I suppose what ever the suggestion to redistribute sadly will have a botting potential as it's something of monetary value. The only thing that kind of doesn't have monetary value is the reward points. |

1 Reward Point = 1 Satoshi. You can sell directly if you have more than 100,000. I'm looking for something that can't be gamed by the botters. |

Not just one or two legitimate users but thousands of them. We don't want to punish people for being new customers. |

I'm looking for something that can't be gamed by the botters.
Mail to all users - lottery (depending on prize fund) split between ID ranges - and make it one entrance per email reply. Reply with IP address, last roll Server / Client Seeds etc With a XX hr reply time frame. You'll be able to match the data - Plus Botters will have to scrawl through their email boxes they generated, and provide you with IP ranges for blocking 😉 AND you know that your mailing list is up-to-date. (Helps with Euro/UK GDPR rule's should you be approached) |

My number begins 15xxxxx and I deposit to make up my entries. Past few weeks I've 23-25k, 5-6k and 50-55k. Does that mean I should be excluded? |
