You already said that you cannot calculate the amount of actual tickets that are being bought, because a lot of tickets that are bought are coming from referral income that are paid by your site.

That's pretty much it^* but there are a lot of other things going on at the same time so we'll never really be able to determine what the Lambo effect is.

It's $2 currently, an amount most people can afford to lose, but you will have a chance, although a very slim one, 0.00006862% as of right now, but still a chance of winning a Lambo or $200,000 in BTC if the winner opts for that. Since you can't win a lottery without buying a ticket, I think it's worth buying one for this particular event (which myself I did ). I did it because among other things, I know that FreeBitco.in is an honest site. But don't buy tickets even for $0.5 each from the newly appeared sites that run "similar" lotteries. Don't give your money to the scammers.

I don't want to promote those sites, so I'm not putting the links to them, but you can google "win a lamborghini" and see them yourself. You can also add the words "lottery" or/and "bitcoin" to the search to obtain some other results, but overall I think none of them is legit.

I absolutely agree with you. There are so many, other than sport, events we can bet on. Like who will win the Nobel Peace Prize, or who will win the Grand Prix of this or that festival(there are hundreds of international film festivals around), or how many views on YouTube a popular song will get by a particular date and so on. I too think that it would be a lot more fun than just a sportsbook.

I noticed that as well but still would be nice if you add the big matches as well
you had outrights for Roland Garros for example but adding at least the finals would had been really great
so IMO you should do that for Wimbeldon , it won't hurt even if the volume was low right ?
for some reason I believe having the finals will have higher volume than outright , cause they are 2 options bet with significantly less risk

also what are the plans for Copa America ? the schedule should give good timeframe for adding all the matches and should allow decent volume
so having both outright and match ups should be great for Copa America

There is no way to disable the "Betting" features that has come from the site. By the way you can ignore it by not click that option after all it won't bother you when playing there.

We do already have the next US president bet up, select category politics. Trump is currently at 64%.

The next James Bond bet we discussed but as with a lot of ideas we had there is a bit of a problem. There is no fixed time schedule so the time weight multiplier wouldn't work. That also means that we would need to be able to stop betting as soon as it happens or people would bet already knowing the outcome. wesuit and I can't stay awake monitoring all these things 24/7.
If we can find a way to frame the bet in a fixed time period and we think there is interest then we will add them. I'm particularly keen on finding more crypto related bets.

The biggest will probably be 2020 USA election, those are always a big betting possibility because both the Americans play on that heavily but also world takes a look at it too. It's useful also to prevent accidental betting (ex. wrong clicks and similar, it's unlikely but possible).
However the gambling part is the main source of income of this site (because there are no ads), so I understand that the admins don't like the idea to make it deactivable.
A compromise can be this: if a user wants to disable the gambling part (to use only the "earn btc" feature), also his faucet is disabled. But it's just an idea.

It's stupid, he will find another way to gamble, there are plenty of other sites where you can gamble, disabling it on one wont solve his issue. Freebitcoin also makes a substantial amount of money from their betting option, I'm fairly sure most newbies just gamble their few earned satoshis most of the time. I know I do, I like using it as a bonus to gamble with it, risk free gambling.

Its about placing it outside temptation I think.   Sure he can go out of his way but part of breaking a habit would be to reduce the normal routine to gambling he might have had in the past.    I much prefer to visit somewhere familiar to going through a new site, etc. and he could but is less likely to depending on his own character of course.
