It gave me a bit of a chuckle to see they inadvertently pointed out that we're coming up to our 8th anniversary. We wouldn't have survived this long if we didn't make the tough decisions required to balance what we give for against the income that pays for it.

I think people new in crypto don't realize that 8 years is an eternity when it comes to businesses survival. Some of my old favorite sites have closed down. Others are still barely alive but not doing well. Most pivot to other business completely different and with takeovers.

$100k is a little overwhelming to be honest. By placing the bet in $70k - $80k range I was more like getting the price hit at $71k -$72k which is still achievable.
Bitcoin is already at $63k which is why I think $70k - $80k could have been one of the range I would bet on.

Babygun was just pointing out that the WOF spins bonus is not profitable anymore in the long run. Because you will lose more RP than you will win RP or satoshis in the long run. While with the former RP bonus we were winning 100satoshis for each additional free roll above 12 in one day.

In my opinion it's better to make a separate wof for non-premium users with different rewards or the same rewards with lower chance of winning big prizes.
Premium users with thousands of Funtoken in hand(bought at higher price) deserve to have better chance in wof. Multi accounters are milking wof and you lower the chances for all accounts, this isn't fair.

What assmonkey gave you that advice?  You do realize that ANY asset that has a "lock until XYZ" date is literally a ponzi scheme right?  That's EXACTLY how Bitconnect and ALL other known scams have worked and will continue to work until people realize that the word "Lock" is a MAJOR red flag.  There's nothing cooler than watching someone's asset go to zero or the services they received with it are removed while their shit is LOCKED and they freak out.  LMFAO.  There is no such thing as incentivizing holding with "lock" features.  That's just a mechanism to sucker people into a ponzi scheme.  People will hold with or without locking mechanisms.  If an asset needs a locking system, then clearly it's a scam.

And yes,  that includes even Proof of Stake mining systems that have "locking" features.  It's yet to be seen if ETH 2.0 will fall into that category.  The ponzi scheme'ness of PoS coupled with Locking is a major concern with the ETH 2.0 plans and a lot of work is going into it to try to avoid that happening.  Whether it works or not,  only time will tell.

That's a really good range to put your bet on. I am still waiting for last minute fluctuations though.

The Rolex was always rare but I thought the higher BTC price was already accounted for in the nominal adjustments to rewards.   I guess BTC on a strong path upwards causes more strain then just that or FBC would not alter the odds.   Its probably not the only business where higher BTC worth will have some feedback to operation of using BTC as a currency, a constantly rising BTC price is volatility which is usually a cost to business.

I am not sure if I would ever be able to save my spins, I didn't even know that we could do that, I assumed that it was just 48 hours no matter what and wherever we get it from. In any case I can't wait that much because I get too much excited about it and I end up selling it and hope that I would be able to get anything I could and that way I would basically be doing whatever I want right away and I would have to wait for it.

It would literally make me lose sleep considering what if I get something like a rolex from them? Freebitco created the full stop for those people who were taking the advantages of Reward point bonuses. I myself used that RP bonus for a while and it was a good feature. I was expecting a change in the system, but I didn't like that they have reduced the winning possibility of bigger prize from WOF spins. Premium members will have low return (benefits) for holding their FUN tokens. And the FUN/BTC pair continuously going down.
BTW, I'm excited for the Lamborghini draw now. Only few hours left and I have 12 tickets in this round.

Yes it is down for me too but I am sure they will fix it soon,most probably tomorrow morning will be fixed.Other than that I can use bonuses like WoF,I can see my winnings in the WoF and do practically everything else.Most probably FUN token is under some form of maintenance right now so nothing to worry.

It does indeed appear like they have pulled a bait and switch. Here is the new prize chart:

When we first introduced WoF we left the payouts at 50/500/5000 for a long time while BTCUSD was increasing before we linked the rewards to price. The effect of these changes actually brings the expected value of WoF spins exactly back to where it started.

With the new odds it becomes virtually impossible to break even unless you actually end up winning the lottery or a lambo with your tickets. If you somehow manage to make 24 claims in a day to get 120 spins you will only be expected to earn a combined 3342 RP & sats while the cost to activate the bonus is 3600 RP.

The breakeven point on the reward Points we gave you for free is 0.

With these adjustments it also makes it much less appealing to become a premium member. With FUN token hitting new lows against BTC since it was introduced to the site and the WOF prizes constantly decreasing, the vast majority of long term investors might end up losing more BTC than they earn.

We do have one overriding rule that we have no choice but to obey. The amount we give away in free rolls, lottery tickets, reward points and WoF spins can't exceed the income from gambling. When it starts to consistently do that we have to make adjustments. Would you prefer we just left payouts where they are until we go bankrupt and all our customers lose everything?

Same for me, the number of free WOF remaining is not displayed, my bonus interest for geing premium is not displayed. The stats page is empty.
I hope this issue will be fixed soon.
