Exactly - he really seems like a new user who doesn't know many of the posting rules on forum yet. I'm not really sure he was part of the previous bitcointalk users - if not, he was already well aware of the posting rules when he wanted to quote some users.

Instead of waiting for him to edit the post and delete some of it - I often send moderators reports like this for editing especially because the poster didn't immediately respond to appropriate advice.



It seems that freebitco.in has improved now in terms of customer service - certainly this is welcome especially as they really want to resolve many of the pending issues for some users. For that - I wish them the best.

You guys are being a tiny bit harsh to someone trying to improve matters.  Multiple replies within one post is ok surely, or did it already get edited to reflect that.

That spread on FUN is harsh, another problem with being near to a low Satoshi figure I guess.  If it was a stock they'd do a rearrangement, I had to look it up the correct term a 'stock reverse split'    Where by the price rises but in effect its all worth the same, I'm not sure that's feasible but that spread is not helping liquidity no doubt.

Iam accumulating spins though so I dont especially mind personally; price is stepping down on the regular right now so in theory now is the time to accumulate spins.  It'd be more healthy as a market with a 1% spread of course.

By the way, the price of FUN has fallen again to 7 satoshis if want to sell here,
The 7 satoshi you see there is the buy price, not the sell price.
If you want to sell your FUN tokens in freebitco now, you have to sell them at 5 satoshi which is 28.5% lower than the buy price.

The amount locked here is larger than that on CEX in trading, it seems that FUN holders expect the token to increase in terms of amount so that it can slightly reduce losses due to already buying at a high price, and that causes low trading volume and actually, it is not impossible for this token to enter in the alt season party, but I'm quite doubtful that it will be able to go up to tens of satoshis, if it can reach tens of satoshis that's good enough.

You are right, selling at 5 satoshi and buying at 7 satoshi. Thanks for the correction.

Honestly, such a huge spread in the percentage ratio is shocking, and the buy/sell of FUN tokens on the Freebitcoin site seems pointless because of this. Imho, the Freebitcoin team should have added a possibility to buy/sell FUN tokens with USDT instead of BTC a long time ago.

Also won the lottery getting 4th place and the prize was deposited right away. So had some spending money to place bets on the Euro over the weekend thanks to the 0,00425btc prize from their pool.
Took the instant withdrawal option which was deposited 9 hours after it was initiated.
So from my perspective on all that has gone on for the past two months here described on this ANN thread has been a positive one.

The addresses they use for payout are the hot wallets. Freebitcoin doesn't reuse addresses and so each time you get paid, part of the money gets transferred to a new never-before seen address (this is good practice). I have dug around, but it seems to be awfully hard to find the cold wallet with the 1000+ BTC.
Seems like Freebitco team isn’t holding the cold wallet BTC amount on any Bitcoin address now. Here is the FUN token wallet address which is owned by Freebitco.in team: 0x99E2AE3dD7fDb5684950176551911d19D55dFCaB


This address is holding 1190+ BTC, 6430+ ETH and 3.8 billions FUN tokens. The total assets are worth $114 million in that address for the current price of different crypto. It means wetsuit is holding the cold wallet Bitcoin on the ERC20 network (as Aave interest bearing WBTC). And they have enough funds to pay the users. But whole Freebitco system is backdated (withdrawal method, support system, etc).

Wow, thank you! I never withdrew/deposited any FUN so I never explored that avenue!

Those numbers are in the rough ballpark of what I expected (except that it's missing ~1B FUN that is supposed to be "locked"?).

Thank you again, it would have been nice to have an official answer, but alas...

Thank you for confirming it, I hope that the new representative here who replaces Thequin's position can really be active in the thread so that he can help all users who have problems on the site, at least this can ease all the trust that has been slowly fading lately on the freebitcoin site, even so with looking at the many cases that exist, I still have confidence that this site is still paying and not going bankrupt and even still has enough money to pay all its users, not long ago I also made a withdrawal without any problems, everything was processed well as usual.

Some of you already know me. I was one of those robbed. 2 times. one depositing because an incorrect address appeared in the official page and another withdrawing because although everything was fine on the screen, all my funds were deposited to another account.

I am very happy if the Client Service becomes proffesional and really answer our issues. As many of you knows, i sent graphical evidences about the issue and the malicious scripts and even i offered my account to Freebitco.in for the investigation.

The issue was not caused by a virus. It was a 100% security issue in Freebitco.in (i prove that because i used different PCs, networks and devices) but  after causing the loss of all the funds of some users and having sent emails with evidence of the hack:

  • no one from Freebitco.in responded to any of my emails.
  • nobody from Freebitco.in have contacted me.
  • of course, we still don't know if they fixed the critical issue or hackers can attack again at any time
.

Nor has the user @TheQuin responded to the private message I sent him. For me, the answer from freebitco.in has been... horrible, shameless. They have laughed at us.

Now, I would appreciate someone from Freebitco.in to calm us.

In fact, i have returned to the page but i am afraid and review the page code every time i need to deposit or withdrawal because i don't know if we are still in danger and the hackers can come back whenever they like.
