Since the beginning of this year bitcoin transaction time is too long...
We have to wait for the hours to get the bitcoin..
What is the reason behind it ?
Does anyone know it?

MMM participants get upto 100% per month...

Algorithm of the bitcoin is constructed in a way that transactions are becoming slower with the time.

I don't know if you are just a trolling or you just haven't tried to make any Bitcoin transactions in this past few months. Try to make a transaction today and set it low transaction fee, it will not take an hour before it gets confirmed, maybe just a few minutes it will get thru because there are only 1763 of unconfirmed transactions (at the time of the post) today so it will be more faster and cheaper to make transaction right now, check here https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions if you want try to set the fees to priority, then it will be almost instant and hey it is not expensive like it was before.

Transaction times during December / January were slow due to Bitcoin's limited transaction capacity and the network being overburdened with unconfirmed transactions. Imagine a queue at a grocery store -- if there's just few people, you'll be able to check out faster. If there are many people in line, it will take longer.

However as mentioned by VitKoyn, queues are short right now, so transactions should be fast again.

Not really, no.

Are you sure you are using Bitcoin? Cause the Bitcoin that I have been using for transactions has been very fast for the last two months. And the fees is also at the lowest point for the past year. Also with segwit released it should speed up your transaction speed even more if you use it.

I do not know, but my transactions passed quickly and I did not have to wait for days or weeks. Hmm. Maybe it's an isolated event or a slow internet?

Its takes to much time for safety transaction purposes to protect our accounts  from the scammers or hackers for me its not a big deal as long our transaction process is protected

I don't think the transaction goes longer, what I'm doing is that I pay larger transaction fee. It's maybe taking longer time because of too many transaction that was being made. Since there is ever increasing number of users, the volumebof people transacting also increases. If its really getting longer then we could expect it take longer in the coming years, this should be one of the bitcoin feature that has to be developed.

Seriously from where you get this information about starting a thread like this, have you done a bitcoin transaction in your life and do you really know the transaction fees and the time it takes now.  Roll Eyes
The issue you were talking about is in the past and those issues are sorted out by making changes in the transaction format.

Its takes to much time for safety transaction purposes to protect our accounts  from the scammers or hackers for me its not a big deal as long our transaction process is protected
Seriously , do you really know what you are talking about.

If you increase your fee a little more, everything will be okay. I think, the more the fee is, the sooner the transaction will be completed. Other than that, there is a transaction accelerator, which you can use.

When there's rush to the transactions, bitcoin transaction goes slow and when transaction pressure is less, then bitcoin transaction goes quite faster.
