I love that app. It's still early stages of development but they improved it greatly. Soon we will have url address Dot Bit, Android App, Full Tor support and Multi-Wallet.

I sold a 120mm computer fan for $10 in BCH. Only had the store up for like 4 Days or so. Once we get another big update we are soaring to the moon. Maybe not going to beat eBay anytime soon, but going to put a financial hurting on Etsy/Storenvy/Bonanza/DeviantArt.

I run both BTC and BCH stores on there. Both with Verified Moderators.

Anyone else give OpenBazaar a shot? Maybe come back after this big update if you hated v1.0?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I don't think there is a usability issue, It's more like people don't want to take the extra effort to deal on decentralized platforms (whether It's exchanges or anything else). I usually check BazaarBay.org/stats/ and I have to say that there are no improvements when it comes to the number of vendors, online nodes etc. What I think would help is that when someone wants to sell something, he should list it on OpenBazaar and refer people to it If they want to buy.

BazaarBay only indexes 1.0 stores. They are going to update to 2.0 later on. But yes many original vendors have parted ways since 1.0 was rather simplistic and required 24/7 online store to make sales. So we pretty much have a new regime of sellers listing stuff.

The only ongoing issue we are having is if you had an early 2.0 RC store and it updated a few times the database files can get messed up. Requiring a clean reinstall. That's why you only should hold a limited amount of funds in your wallet and backup the info.

If you want to see OB 2.0 stores on the web check out Mubiz, which has a limited number of OB vendors (ones who signed up on Mubiz).
