I bid BTC 1.00 on an item that already had a bid of BTC 0.99. Now I'm listed as the highest bidder, but the bid is still BTC 0.99?

i stumbled upon this by chance and it's a pretty good site... i was testing the dev site and all seems to work, except for this: http://dev.biddingpond.com/item.php?id=1&history=view#historythe max seems to be that huge number, but i entered as many 9 as could fit into the bid form space. what i see is not a huge pile of 9s though... are you limiting the number not to run into overflow? maybe add a note with the max number allowed... anyway, i'm need2revolt on both sites and i'm selling myself in the dev site... if you anyone wants to buy...

The page styles are a bit broken for me, chrome on osx. Specifically the user_menu is all over the place!

I've sold on biddingpond in the past. My suggestion is to have a payment address field when setting up the auction. Using the block explorer, it would be a way to verify payment as sent. Also a way to verify that fees should be charged for listing the auction.

On action 8 I bought 10 items @ 2 btc, and bidder1 bought 5 @ 6. When I go to pay now, I get an outstanding value of 6 btc, which is obviously wrong.

Thanks for the reports everyone. Working on getting them touched up.
Added Two new features:
Added unique QR code to each auction page.
In the last minute of auction every bid extends timer by 30 seconds - Replaces Captcha on Bid Screen - Used to diminish effect of 'sniping' programs
@chmod755 : What input field allows iframe insertion?
@PTMHD: Yes, this will be credited to the production site when the Beta goes live.
@kseistrup: Investigating SSL connections (98% likely, Might even make it a default "option"), Also not a bug the first bid will equal the starting bid price.
@Need2Revolt: I will add Message about Auction Limit. My assumption is that no one will bid for an item over 21,000,000 BTC as that is current hard coded generation limit.
@Nelisky: please try again as I was making some site modifications today. I am also investigating the bidding issue.
@TTBIT: Currently setting up a bitcoin forwarding option. -Seller will supply an address they wish to receive coins - Buyer will send coins to an address generated by site and will forward coins to seller - If no forwarding address is supplied payments are held in an on site wallet.

The article description even allows <script>: http://dev.biddingpond.com/item.php?id=11I just tried to leave feedback, but it says: You may not leave feedback about this user! This auction is not closed! The auction is closed: http://dev.biddingpond.com/item.php?id=8Edit: Oh, sorry. I gave my feedback to the user testing, but the menu still tells me: "1 users are awaiting feedback from you" (is it a bug in dutch auctions?) Thanks, Working on it.

Undecided about a "length" feature. I might add a timer so you can't repost for a specified time after. Also, I believe I patched the XSS (<iframe>,<script> etc.) problem. Care to give it another try?

If possible, I would like to see a part of the site dedicated to local areas, such that I can click on the area where I live and bid on local items. Like the way craigslist works.

This would be very nice for vehicles and other large items.
