Problems in the Current Connected Car Ecosystem

Data Ownership - Vehicle and driving data can be used to derive insights about people’s lifestyle and preferences and is therefore invaluable. Without advanced data encryption and strict authorization, there is a huge potential threat to people’s personal privacy and safety.

Data Collection & Accuracy - The majority of vehicle purchases worldwide are not new vehicles. In fact, the average car on the road in the U.S. is 11.5 years old. 1. The technology plan of CarBlock, V4.0 has been completed. Along with the previous plan of Dapp realization within the realm of automobile industry, CarBlock will expand business scope into the protocol layer to unify the standards and interfaces of Dapp and will serve to all the applications in the ecosystem of automobile and transportation industry.
Meanwhile, the new version of CarBlock Whitepaper has been completed and will be issued soon.

In order to adapt to the China and Asia market, the second hardware of Carblock, nonda 3G OBD smart automobile health monitor has already completed the sample producing and is currently undergoing the Alpha phase. Meanwhile, 30 community volunteers will be participated in the Alpha phase. 3G OBD will be distributed to them next week for testing.

Being the most important solution of collecting driving data in the aftermarket, 3G OBD will be the key hardware to support CarBlock ecosystem, and provide complete and immediate driving data to those who need, including whole car factories, insurance companies, vehicle maintenance service providers and the transportation department.
