All those guys told you to hold and you did just so they could sell and leave you holding the bag of shit.  Now how do you feel?  Suckers!!!  I told you SODL don't HODL.  The whales get richer for a reason: you are stoopid.
Written very roughly, however, in general, is true.
Cryptocurrency can not constantly grow in value and therefore to keep it must be approached selectively. If there is no time, then you should at least use large price fluctuations for the sale and purchase of cryptocurrency. Just keeping coins and tokens can not always make a profit, and in some cases even bring a loss. A good example in this regard is the current outgoing year. It was he who laid many doubts about the long-term retention of cryptocurrencies.

Everyone is free to make their own investing decision, so it is not dumb to hold. The market is temporary down, as long as you hold, there is a possibility for the price to go up.
for some people who do shor term trading, of course saying that holding is a foolish choice when the price conditions experience a downward trend, but for someone who sees in the long run is certainly not a problem to hodl, this is just about perspective, isnt it ?

whatever choice we want SODL or HODL, it is not a foolishness, you can be said as a senior, you should be wiser in making a topic, all come back to our beliefs, like me who still believes that the BTDC price will rise again, and is very offended by your statement , but I'm sure in your heart you also expect that, and maybe for those who are still HODL, they think that having one btc is worth much of a stack of fiat money, and price isn't everything.

Both hodling and trading have their benefits. It's stupid to call one or the other side losers, like rawdog is doing.
The advantages of being a hodler?
  • don't risk anything by moving coins around
  • don't hold money on exchanges
  • don't risk being tracked by the government or hackers
  • aren't trading and don't have to pay taxes because you are always in crypto, never in fiat
  • getting profits anyway without unnecessary risks
  • aren't trading and don't have to pay taxes because they are always in crypto, never in fiat
  • don't watch the price and don't waste time on trading
  • don't worry about the price. When others are panicking you are calm and the longer you hodl the easier it is to remain calm.

Advantage of being holder for me is exactly all these points. I make my investment, and forget about it much. This means I still have my job in real life, nothing changes for me. I progress in my work I still learn and I of course make use of my extra time to learn more about crypto. It hasn't helped me much practically, but I don't spend all my time trading and worrying. If Bitcoin goes bust, I lose some money but anyway I would have lost it doing other things. At least since buying crypto, I haven't been wasting my time as in the past just spending on entertainment.

Do not be offended, RawDog is our local forum Troll and he thrives on making threads that stir people's emotions. Your reaction to his thread is just fueling his appetite to continue doing this. The best thing to counter his arguments is just to prove him wrong or to ignore him. <click the little ignore option under his username>  Tongue

I opted not to ignore him, because I want to counter everything he says with posts like this, because I know exactly what he is trying to do.  Wink
