While this is the correct thing to do, those that are panicking are not doing it because they want to, they probably took a very bad decision investing when bitcoin was very expensive and now they're very worried about their money, and if they are not experimented investors it is almost a sure thing that they are going to eventually sell their bitcoins and altcoins for a bad price.

Yes we cant lose if dont sell right away, we invest to get profit not to lose any of our investment,  only strong hands survive and weak hands loses more if you are risk taker enough you can handle the dump situation of market and not carry away with fud and your emotion and do panic selling.. I cant say how far can bitcoin go  but i always believe on its big potential.

Always check the market if your holding has a chance to get up again . If you feel you lose a big and still going down just think a couple of minutes then sell it , find another . If you want to earn , be wise and be smart . Just make some research and earn some success.  Dont only HODL if you think you lose some.

Holding is not an issue but now the governments are changing their policies against crypto currencies so its very urgent form nany people that they are selling their crypto coins even at the lower price and wearing huge losses

I think that there are governments that change their policies that make the people to sell their cryptocurrencies even they are in a deep loss. I don't remember that there are existing like that because the government doesn't have something against the cryptocurrencies because they can just regulate it and not dictate the people to sell.

Bitcoin is a payment system in the first place and we should treat it in that way. Bitcoin is valuable today because early adopters preferred to spend their Bitcoins instead of holding and now it is our responsibility to do the same. I am not against investment/holding but I believe that we should hold with one hand and spend with another to keep the network active.

Thanks for your sharing, I think it will help the newbie. There are many newbie when entering the Crypto market. They all think that when prices go down they will lose money. So they will try to sell all the bitcoins they are holding

Your intention is correct Bitcoin is a payment system we have to use it in that way but where you will spend your bitcoins? no merchants will accept and now converting BTC to fiat also become very tough local governments are not supporting cryptocurrency. So i think people are choosing second option Holding.

If you hold your butcoin until the price went up recently, then you also have gain profit. Patience is a good virtue when it comes to bitcoin. You really have to think that the price will soon go high inorder for you to hold and not panic sell.

Til when? Holding Bitcoin is not forever, you should learn how to sell it sometimes. Use these opportunity to gain more profit. No one can predict whether its price will pump or dump. You can sell it sometimes to recover lost funds especially when you buy it with a high value.

This is a fact and everyone should ubderstand this. Market dips due to the normal volatility in the market is a normal thing and is something that happens naturally not only with Bitcoin but also to most of the cryptos. Indeed,you will not lose profit if you won't sell during the dips becsuse the amount of your holding is obviously the same. The moment you sell is also the moment you lose profit.

There is no bad dump in the market right now, prices are normal, situation is normal, no bad rumours in the air and different good news about the bitcoin are from different part of the world. The worst dump is over and all of the people have already suffered a lot from it when the bitcoin dropped down to the level of $6k,  we hope that no government spread FUD anymore.

yes i agree that holding is a good way to reduce your losses. because market always recovers if you didnt invest to a shit or crap coin your loss will probably be recovered. but sometimes bearish trends may take long time so it might be better just to sell and buy from a dipper point.

While holding is without a doubt the best way to earn profits and to reduce your losses that can be a very difficult strategy to apply for some segments of the users in this forum, for example there are many that want to obtain profits fast and holding will not give you that, holding will give you profits over the long term but if you want profits in the short term you have no option but to trade.
