The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Zurich meeting was awesome, so what the hell, I'll hop on a train and get down there!  Smiley

Looking forward to meeting some genevoise bitcoinières! (Fun fact, the Genevoise was a short-lived currency in Geneva at the end of the 18th century!)

Possibly indeed. On a weekend I could probably get a ticket for a reasonable price if done in advance. Do you have a date fixed?
Weekend in Amsterdam sounds good;

Could someone please livestream the 'meatup' for us netizens who want to attend virtually?

0.009 BTC too confusing?  Use mBTC instead!  Details at www.em-bit.org or visit the project thread to help make Bitcoin prices more human-friendly.

I'm planning on being there. I don't know about livestreaming. Probably there is no wifi in the pub. 3G might not be strong enough (certainly it'd be very expensive to stream via 3G).

I'd like to be there... but I am not sure I could get my financial stuff in order well enough to be able to afford a train ticket in april Smiley

So... most likely, I'll have to wait for round 2.

Actually it's a hackmeeting on the 4th and a conference on the 6th:

Worth coming to the hackmeeting IMO if you can make it.

Looking forward to the movie;

How will we recognize ourselves? Bitcoin logos on the tables?
Anyway, I will try to find you between 4:30 and 5 PM today in Lord Nelsons Pub.

It was a great get-together and we are already looking forward to the next one.

We really talked about 3 hours about bitcoins, and we could have gone on much longer...

The only thing that was disappointing was that we could not pay our 20+ beers and applejuices with bitcoin in the end  Wink
