Yes, the hype in Dec > Jan certainly brought in a load of people that simply wanted to jump on the bandwagon after having Bitcoin explained to them over Christmas dinner by one of the younger members of the family. As the price of Bitcoin rose over the following days, people decided to invest some money.

Once they all started to pull out, the panic selling set in and we all saw what happened.

BTC will break it's ATH but it will take time.

Yep, I also agree with some of the analysis. Specially around December when there was a lot of newbies and irrational buyers who suddenly flocks the ecosystem and buying at peak price and thinking that the growth will continue to around $50K. They thought that this market is a quick rich scheme.

However, when the market started to crash, they immediately get out because they are losing so much and never come back again. Its a expensive lesson to learn, but I guess everybody should learn from this mistakes and move on.

If not, it's hard to list analysis on exactly how the down swing in the market occurred.

I agree as BTC goes so does the market.  In my opinion the current cycle is $6,000 to $10,000

1.Whales who sold for higher prices will buy slowly at low prices and will become 1.5* rich.
2.Some people will leave the Crypto market.
3.Believers will HODL.
4.The market will slowly recover.

there is no certainty that bitcoin is now at "low" prices netscape navigator was first internet browser no one uses it today.

there are whales that push bitcoin, there are whales that try to sell bitcoin futures.

and there are whales the think now bitcoin is at low prices and buy and there are whales that spread fud because they invested into other coins. Oh and not just other "whales" all other ICOs do that for strategic interest reasons

all you pitty "analysis" are usless talked garbage. or in the best cases just deliberate released manipulations

the market will recover because the banksters world wide are broken and hated and the people got tired with them and their neofeudalism with their billionaires that abuse them like money earning cattle, not because bitcoin is "awesome".

Hello everyone, why are you panicking? At the moment, there is no demand for bitcoin and therefore it drops to the bottom (another blow in the media and banks).
But let's think-all the same bitkoin evolves, and soon after the correction, the demand will return, and after that the supply will increase.

It's true what's happening right now is the ongoing decline but it's all unnecessary thinking because it's all over and it's all going to go back and no need to panic about all this as it will end and bitcoin will give something good in the future.

Many people will leave the crypto market, yes some of the known people already leave the cryptomarket because of bitcoin price down.
Lots of people came in the crypto platform by seeing the price, they don't know about bitcoin, someone invested by hearing bitcoin will hit 30k USD very soon, and now they are blaming bitcoin.

Yes, I agree with your observations, but I don't believe the percentage you mentioned, i think they are just assumptions and no bases. Though this is the reality in crypto business industry, we should think on the positive side or grab the opportunity to buy and invest, since we know that after all these crisis, things will be back to normal and an uptrend of bitcoin price would come soon.

I agree with the thread author's  comments and most of it were true. In my views, this bear market on the cryptocurrency is part of the cycle in the crypto market and definitely it will not be always bear market but it will recover soon after some corrections made in the market. For those people that are trying to do investments but with lack of knowledge and understanding about crypto currency, I would suggest that these people should start to learn and understand the crypto market movement. With this acquired knowledge , they could now understand how the crypto market works and this will be good since they will not just dump their coins because they no longer panic.

I think you ment that bitcoin was 20k, not 2k. Anyway, the prices are irrelevant, because the medium of exchange must be divisible, what means you could buy a fraction of an ounce or a satoshi of a bitcoin. And the price of 1 satoshi is currently well below one cent of a dollar.

Everyone wanted to make huge profits without having thorough knowledge of what the market and crypto currency is all about. When the market reached the peak there was euphoria with more and more people investing into it and the greed to become millionaire in a night overpowered but when the market showed fluctuation there was chaos, sudden panic compelled everyone to sell their coins, insecurity stopped them to wait and hold and obviously the market crashed due to chaotic mindsets.

They can sell at times putting a stop/loss target and then planning accordingly.I would suggest that these people should start to learn and understand the crypto market movement.

Most of them just buy tokens and waited for it to go up without other transactions done, they were hyped by the fact that there is a huge profit in crypto if the value goes high. The problem is when the demand goes down just for a while, others tend to sell their tokens too just to avoid losing more. What happens to the market? more coins are being put on sale while the buyers can only buy few. This results to dump.
