I have done some research online regarding investing. As a subsequence have found myself talking to multiple firms about them managing a sum of money on my behalf in cryptocurrencies.

Does anybody have any experience with brokers in this capacity?

Is this a sensible investment?

I have no experience in this regard, no, but be careful. As Cryptocurrencies have seen a lot of media attention mid to end of last year and also at the beginning of 2018, it created a large influx of all kinds of so-called 'professionals'.

Ask yourself this: Would've trusted you these people with regular investments before the crypto-hype?
In addition to being a completely new technology (and market), the crypto space has also the added risk of anonymity and therefore a huge potential for all sorts of scams and fraudulent activities. Be careful.

Remember, in a bull market everyone is an expert.

First, not the fact that they will be able to  manage your money profitably. Secondly, as already mentioned in this area a lot of different scams. Thirdly, you need to understand the mechanisms of investment by yourself-this is the best option!
