In recent months, the market has dropped a lot. Many people's portfolios have fallen by 50 percent, and the answer is basically waiting.

We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.

I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.
I don't actually lost 50% but if calculating from the basic or usual bitcoin's price when I got in, I'm still in profit. Those who are complaining about the price are knew to cryptocurrencies and they have seen on how risky and volatile this investment. Losing a little bit if you decided to cut loss but just like what I believed from the old traders here, waiting will be the best option. Bitcoin surprised at with his ATH and it's crashes so it can be back again so if you will be patient and you know what you are investing, there's no need to worry.

trading is very difficult to guess if the price is stable or down, even eth prices are now being weakened. but if we look at 3 months ago, eth and bitcoin price is very pleasant. now how we make decisions in selling. whether to survive in order to gain profit or loss. all certainly takes time to be able to wait for a stable price, and if the price jumps down again, then you should be able to take action so as not to harm the price of capital you buy.

I hold right now because some of my holdings are down 80%, and I'm waiting for them to go up and then I'll do some more trading. For other projects I believe in, I just hold by default. In this market wide crash everything is down, and when the market recovers, everything will go up. So short term (like 3-4 months) I am waiting for it to recover, but long term I'm waiting for it to soar to unthinkable heights Smiley

We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.

I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.

when the price is low, you prefer to wait.

If you have an investment, of course you are aiming to get bigger profit. So you sell high and you buy low. As of the moment the prices in the market drops, so it is better to hold your stacks and wait for another rise to have your gain in your investment.

Because there is no assurance that the price will go deeper than you expect so it's better to hold than sell it at losing price. But you're right you can do it that way, at least you will get experience on that strategy. As doing that way, you will be panic in every downfall of price and you will lost your focus. Indeed it's better to hold and be patient to wait.

The waiting is phenomenal and must be that way if we want to go out with profit. Bitcoin or crypto investment is like stock and not like forex trade that money is made both downward and upwards.

If one invest in bitcoin and unfortunately the price goes down, the waiting is the next option if profit is expected.

There is always a time for every thing, a time to invest and wait for it to yield. The sponsors of each project also take their time to put together the funds needed to run the ICO. So if you are advice to wait, it is for your benefit.

In some situations patience is good and i am saying that wait for the future then you should be careful and be happy for this  decision that if you wait you will receive a benefit like you will be able to earn extra money and if you now cash out your bitcoin you will get nothing but the minimum value of crypto now the market is red and we have to wait for the good time.

I think it is up to you if you wanna lose because in the first place it is your portfolio. When somebody said to hold that means that he is just being optimistic that someday in the future a bullish run will happen because that is how it is going in the past.

Patience is not simply the ability to wait - it's how we behave while we're waiting. Because waiting is testing out patience, it is testing how we react while waiting for something or someone. It is testing of how important that thing to be wait.

You will lose if you invest in a coins or tokens that have low value or not popular but if you buy btc, eth, ltc and bch even they drop by 50% they will come back from their current high price

another thing your a newbie that's why you ask and not believe in bitcoin investing so study it first

actually i lose a lot of money here but now i can say that i double or triple it now like i'm proud of it

I am saying wait because the price now is very low and it is not good to sell our hold bitcoins. Instead it is the best time to buy for more bitcoins and hold until the price hits to the top again int he market. I believe this price will increase soon so better buy and hold.

I am in the favor to wait because now the market is red and if you are in hurry and you do any thing in the future you will upset on that decision so if you think now the time is not good to use your crypto but if urgent then it is up to you and i want to hold my crypto for the next year and then i wan to buy a house for me and to live in it for a good future these are have to manage.

Waiting is a good idea when it comes to a long term investment. Since now that the price in the market is dropping low, it is better to have patience in our investment to gain our profit.

I believe bitcoin is a popular currency so from that I will wait until bitcoin rises again. I have experienced selling low prices and I am losing, though only slightly. However I will not repeat the same mistake. Let it be a long-term investment. I will be patient to wait. Fluctuations are not strange to the world of markets and this is manipulation.

Waiting is what people choose to,now that bitcoins price were getting lower its better to hold it than selling when the chart goes red.Instead of helping the market to recover by holding bitcoins in our wallet some prefer to sell,in that case they already contributed to the downfall of price instead of helping bitcoins to smoothly recover,it will deeply drop, the big impact is it can't be easily recovered due to some actions that is inevitible.
Everyone in this community has responsibility but we can't deny the fact that some holders would cut their losses even if they can't have profit in their investments due to their fears and want to take back or pull out their investments than to leave empty handed.

For me, in an investment, money isn't the only thing involved, there is also time. Thus, waiting for bitcoin's price to appreciate is something every investors should do. Thus, wait.

Good thing to do, to kill time is trading. A very good way to earn than watching the price of Bitcoin.

Every year is a good ending for Bitcoin it always meet the unexpected. A great return of profit as Christmas come. Well all I can say is great things happens to people who wait. Just a thought.
