Awesome, just awesome...
Some people got their miners 2 weeks early, some other people got them 2 weeks late.
Professionalism at its best.

dude, I'm watching your posts for last couple of months and you have really bad luck. underperforming Jupiter, 2 weeks delay and now mighty Orama just admit, that KNC accidentally shipped 15 units earlier.) honestly, I admire you manners and patience..

KNC unprofessionalism is really endless..

Really? Perhaps you change vendors and get your hardware from:

BFL
Avalon
Hashfast
etc

Right now KNC has been the MOST professional of any vendor bar none.

Do me a favor try contacting BFL, Avalon, Friedcat, really anyone who sells ASICs and see what kind of customer service/response you get.

I'd remind you that you bought either a 200gh Saturn or a 400gh Jupiter and you got 40% more hashrate than you paid for, you got more than you paid for in a reasonable timeframe

Buy a 60Gh unit from BFL and you get 55Gh of hashrate.

As my final comment, to date, name ANY ASIC company that has delivered closer to on schedule, or more Hashrate for less money than KNC?!?!

I'm probably in his shoes as well, i received my 8 boards yesterday (oct order) and all 8 have the die#0 issue. Now I have to RMA so considering the new delay caused by RMA I can safely claim my Oct order (supposed to be delivered  before Oct 15th) will be actually delivered in Nov... after some Nov orders.
At this point there's nothing much we can do, we asked for some form of compensation for our miners being delivered past 15th of Oct, we received faulty boards instead Smiley
Imo, the best KNC could have done, was to "upgrade" late Oct orders to Nov orders price and give the hash power difference as a sign of good faith. Legally they don't have to do that so they chose... not to.

Man I realy feel sorry for you!
I too had a bad experience :

I know that KNC team is working hard to deliver the best product, but confronting the facts, I must say I am a little disappointed.

The Jupiter miner I received was running at 280 Ghash/s on firmware v0.95. That became a 0 Ghash/s miner after upgrading firmware to 0.97... Firmware revision v0.98 brought my miner back to life, but I now have poor performance.

Back in late september when I was considering asking for a refund, I was lead to think that I was going to receive on the 15th of October a 550Ghash/s miner with less than 1W/(Ghash/s) electric consumption.

What I got on the 29th of October was a 400 ghash/s Jupiter, consuming 535 Watts (1.35W/(Gh/s)).

I have ~15BTC of lost income due to late delivery and since delivery 25% lost of income per day (@todays diff~0.18BTC) due to lack of performance
And with this you add bad life time due to poor efficiency (Ghash/J).... lets say I too am a little screwed up.

I emailed them on those matter, and even if they are kindly looking on my technical problems, they choose not to answer or missed the real issue...

Got to put my hand up and admit a few of the Nov batch are now known to have shipped apparently. Literally just found out after seeing a PM from Ixxi and following through by asking cust serv. They've checked themselves today after a customer rang up claiming he was sent a Saturn instead of a Jupiter and it then transpired he had a Nov del. The order queue has just been reviewed because of this.

From what i've just been told they were accidentally shipped by the manufacturing facility as they over-ran the cut off, due to manual refunds altering the order placements. There are a total of 15 in the wild. A mistake was made, but the rest of November orders are not shipping, and certainly weren't meant to have. It appears that due to closing refunds after the customer order file was sent to the manufacturing facility and courier(s), then the subsequent complaints raised about the cessation of refunds, some orders were not successfully manually removed and the overspill created subsequently ran into the first 15 Nov orders.

In any case I did not know before, I genuinely though he was trolling when I saw this last night, and Ixxi deserves an apology as there is no way November orders are meant to be leaving until production restarts in mid-Nov. Sorry man.

In answer to Jelin's orig q, production restarts mid-Nov on.

No worries, I'm glad it's all cleared up.

This is of course my nonobjective opinion as a 1st batch KNC miner, but I think that if KNC truly cares about their costumers
They should not start to produce the 2nd batch.
Instead offer 2nd batch customers a BTC refund or make them the first preorders in line for their second gen miners.
Delivering 2nd batch now will hurt both batch 1 and batch 2 for obvious reasons(and mayby delay 2nd gen production because of the time spent on 2nd batch production).
KNC earned a lot till now. I assume they can afford to wait for a while with their sales.
KNC stated they will not forget their costumers. Here is their chance to prove it!
