I am interested in Waves Platform for 6 months. The Waves Platform has features that I find great, but I do not like some of them. I have some opinions about them.

Firstly, WCT is more important than WAVES on for most of airdrops. I don't like this.

Waves mobile wallet is should be more functional.  DEX on mobile is terrible. but it is only DEX I use on mobile it is ok Smiley

I like new Waves Client, it has good design and functionalities. Also  WAVES DEX is fantastic . But you should add more coins day by day.

Waves DEX is also needs ERC20 tokens. If you  can integrate, this is milestone for DEX. Currently ETH DEX'es are useless and slow if I use low transaction fees.

I've been trying to leasing my waves for a few weeks. I think it is not profitable so much. What are the factors that affect the income here? If transactions increase,  does the income increase?

Hello, cryptolian!
You can use this link to make your choice http://dev.pywaves.org/generators-weekly/
And look at the formulas at the bottom of the page for profit calculation.

I still keep my waves, which I bought a year ago, but its value is not huge. I kept some in my wallet with waves for lending. I think that a platform that offers a complete solution, for example, dex, provides even one set of functions in one wallet. Even waves - the only platform that allows you to create a marker in the cheapest and easiest way.

Waves really has good underrated technology yet price doesn't catch its quality. Its very hard for me to understand Waves so. I am invested in it but I have lost confidence and trust. I wish I will be proven wrong.

i do get what your saying , but face it , you bought this coin for 20 cents ,  its now at the moment 3 dollar ...  highest it was 18 dollar

so , dont say it didnt give you GOOD profit ... if you didnt sell it allready , you still in (HUGE) profit....

but i am agree with this also :

in the mean time, these are the days you can try to buy more if you have some btc left....

The way of the platform is good! But unfortunately Ethereum in the plan so far stronger.
WAVES I propose to configure the product to eliminate all bugs and to dispose of the system to the maximum possible. Simplicity of use this attracts not only novices, but also professional users of the product.

Waves platform is currently far stronger than the Ethereum platform. At least an order of magnitude more speed (2 orders with mass transactions), more stability (Eth gets congested and suffered the inept and credibility destroying fork after DAO) and Tx fees on Waves are far more transparant and lower cost.

As for bugs and UI - both Eth and Waves benefit from long and deep development cycles - both are well funded - however as far as simplicity of use and intuitive operation Waves beats Eth hands down. Still, Eth has the 1st to market advantage with smart contracts - but this will fade over time - especially when developers come to see the more stable, safe and useful way that RIDE and RIDEON can offer projects.

Good idea about waiting and holding. For today price can be low but in a few weeks or months is it can grow up even twice.

Since I'm leasing my Waves to wavesnode.net (and I own a good amount of WNET too) can you explain like I'm 5 what feature 8 is about. What is FairPOS ? It's a change in the LPoS protocol or something else?

Hi, everyone. As you know original Waves Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm from Nxt blockchain. It’s based on very simple where time to mine next block depends on miner’s balance and semi-random value from previous block.

The disadvantage of Nxt formula is that it allows very large miners to forge not proportionally greater number of blocks. We can see that performance is much better on our real network, e.g. WavesGo’s performance is 1.168 which means that with 22% of stake it gets 27% of blocks:

https://forum.wavesplatform.com/t/fair-pos-adjusted-consensus-algo/239

It is logical why a big pools do not want fair mining algorythm, but to hide behind the noble goals is disgusting. "Need 3rd party audit" is the second excuse after "1 by 1 activation better for debug". Now we see the real reason. ...nastily

Yes, [8] is supposing voting for Fair PoS being activated. More information about Fair PoS can be found here https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/platform-features/fair-pos.html
