I saw this glitch also one or two times. So everything is fine, just some not showing the right value.

At the time I saw this the first time I got panic and checked my transactions and than waves explorer. Normally restarting the client helps.

Instead this market is now under threat by partners of delisting because of lack of funds to sustain daily volume. So I am by his side 100% in this, he needs to get his money back 1 way or the other, someone must pay him.

You are completely right that's what would happen with your 10,000 USD if you would stake them for one year.

The problem with the usdn price of 0.98 is the high gateway fee for usdc and usdt (ERC20) for which you get astronomic Apy at vires finance. That is the main reason why usdn is so low at the moment.

1/ It is now 6 full days since I made that fateful withdrawal of 900k USDN from WAVES Exchange to ETH network, which is as of now still mysteriously put “On Hold” at Waves’ centralized gateway.

2/ As an ordinary pleb, I have no tech background nor connection in crypto. Traded my way up gradually.

Helpless and totally REKT, I am here to ask the almighty CT for help.

3/ My withdrawal transaction was confirmed on the WAVES blockchain, but was not processed on the other side, the Ethereum network.

4/ In case you are not familiar with WAVES Exchange, the Moscow-based platform advertises itself as “The Easiest Way to Access DeFi” and “Nobody but you can access your crypto”.

5/ However, moving funds in/out of the platform, tokens have to pass thru Gateway, which as worded in T&C, is centralized.

“Waves Exchange Gateways – centralized instrument for conversion of tokens of thirdparty blockchains to their analogues on the Waves blockchain and back.”

6/ After my withdrawal was put “On Hold”, I immediately followed the instruction of the error message to “contact support to speed up the process”.

Support was responsive but couldn’t provide a reason for delay nor an ETA. This was Day 1.

7/ Day 3 (18 Oct), I was told my transaction was being “verified” by “neural network”, a process that is “determined randomly”.

Further details were not disclosed.

8/ While more than 48 hours had already passed, this was deemed by Scott the Support person as “normal behavior”.

Why would an exchange gateway want to delay customer withdrawals for 48+ hours?

9/ As the days passed, I grew increasingly frustrated.

Each day (Day 1-6), Scott assured that the withdrawal will be processed.

But the canned and often identical responses offer nothing to that effect: no progress, no explanation, no ETA. No end in sight.

REKT.

10/ There is no information about the “verification process” in their T&C dated 18 November 2019 (https://waves.exchange/files/Terms_Of_Use_Waves.Exchange.pdf).

However, there is mention of withdrawal processing time not exceeding 3 days for the coins listed therein.

11/ Contrary to that, my transfer has been put “On Hold” for 6 full days now - without any reason and through no fault on my part.

12/ Past 6 days were worst week of my life. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat.

My mind fretted endlessly to comprehend how my life’s savings are REKT.

900k USD is a lot of money to ANYONE.

13/ I reached out practically to any WAVES projects personnel I could find.

While everyone pointed me back to Support directly, all of them seemed surprisingly indifferent.

14/ Sasha Ivanov (@sasha35625), Founder of Waves Platform, is active on Twitter.

I tried to get his attention by replying to his tweets, multiple times. But to no avail.

Currently, if you want to withdraw Bitcoin, you pay 0.001 BTC, around $65. With BCH, it's 0.3 BCH which is around $200 in fees. That is complete insanity and I can't imagine anyone using the gateway with fees like that right now.
