Yes, why not you can trade bitcoin to usd or usdt to btc only but is is the hardest part if you get caught before the dump you will wait again for that price to sell or cut loss depending on your own style and strategy of trading. 50$ per day is possible if you are a professional trader.

Yes, it's possible.  And you are right BTC/USDT is the best pair to trade. your are least affected by the fluctuations in BTC price against the dollar.   to make 50$ a day, would require a generous amount of capital.   $1000 in BTC at least.
