I think even if Bitcoin was essentially banned in most major countries, bitcoin would still stay above $50, simply because it's so hard to stop people using it.

Bitcoin has value in its utility, it is still better than VISA for transacting value between countries, in particular those with sanctions and international transfer limits. If bitcoin slumps to $50, I will go mad.

Last time I checked prices, I believe it was about 1500 dollar in Ukraine and Kuwait. It would not seem logical (but logical does not equal possible) if prices went lower than mining cost. As a matter of fact it would even seem dangerous for the future of the coin since all stimulation to mine would be lost if prices go to far below the real mining cost.

I doubt that will ever happen. I think that Bitcoin can slip all the way to $5000, but $50 will never happen if you ask me. As the others have stated, many big investors engage in high volume trades(BTC) on a regular basis and buy the dip and sell at the top. In this aspect, the current bear market has triggered a dip which many investors like me are excited about and are buying the dip. This will most likely cause a rally in the near future and help Bitcoin reach $20k again soon. Despite bitcoin’s uncertainties and its crazy dips and all, i still don’t think bitcoin value will go as deep as $50 however, this may be possible but i believe it would only be of a small percentage, maybe around 10% probability. With all the investors and the amount of investment with bitcoin, i don’t see it going down as $50.

Every body is free here  to express his views.  In above mentioned thread OP expecting BTC to be $50k in 2018 and on the extreme opposite you are expecting it  for just $50.  Expectations of every person differ as per their wishes and requirements. 
One person who is already holding some BTC will always expecting prices to the highest levels.  On the other hand it appears that you want to buy some btc that is why you want it to be at cheapest rates.
Both sides appear to be extreme.     Let us see what the actual final results will be.

If Bitcoin ever falls to the $50 mark, it could imply almost all the hloders of the bitcoin currency are dumping simultaneously and the resultant effect is that crash.... This is theoretical. Worst scenario is the Bitcoin at 5K dollars i think, than btc will stay stable for little bit  and is going to raise to around 30K dollars  in summer time this years

If Bitcoin goes under 50 dollars again, then I will buy at least 100 Bitcoin and let it sit until it goes to at least 5k again, then surely I will be rich then lol. I do not think it will go that low but it could reach around 2k-3k USD at it's lowest and sit there for a very long time so we might see one or two year's worth of profits disappear over the next few months. I do not see any bull run in the cryptocurrency markets any time soon. Without the bull run, there will just be more of a depression and suppression in price.
