So, First things First, I know that a lot of you wouldn't even care about this thing but still I wanna know something.

Besides from the PRODIGY Member Of This Year (nullius) Who among us have already passed the Member Rank ever since the Merit System has been implemented? Are there still others like nullius have already make to FULL MEMBER RANK with the current system or its just that the geniuses of this forum are only allowed to make it through that position?
It's sad that many newbies are whining all over sa BCT but as we know that the current system is still fair and ranks are reachable then there would be no worries about in the future.
So let us have a proof that there are someone else who already passed the hardships on getting merits for the FULL MEMBER Rank.

The answer is probably, yes. Take a look at the top merited users over here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topusersat

I'm pretty sure that TheQuin went from Sr Member to Hero, (earned 254 merit), see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=143168

There's a few more which ranked up aswell probably in the Jr-Sr category, just go through the list.

But, i have to confess, for such a big forum ( over 3 million members), these numbers are indeed pretty small.

bitmover ranked up from Jr. Member to Member this past week.

Here are some lower ranked members to watch out for, as their post quality is great, and they'll have no issues ranking up:

You can add my name for a full member that can rank up to sr member, even before my activity point reach to sr. member rank. Not to brag about it, but in my preference, merit does its job so well, even though the number is very small right now, but in the future it will surely differ the high quality member with normal member.

I did an inspection on that list and clearly enough the last one is a truly merit abuser I doubt if he was already on this list.

s/he has a circle of alt and meriting each other like this Sr. Member gave all his/her sMerits in that user which represents blissful ignorance of how sMerits is indeed for benefit of this forum not his/her alt account.

Try harder with one account like me. however you have got some merits even on your alt. if you see me with not much received merits is because there is no merit for what I'm doing, right?

You forgot to add MyLtc, MyBtc, MyEth, MySexcoin, MyActivitytoken etc. even with farming merits, ranking up is not easy, even if somebody is sending merits from 100 accounts to their alt accounts. don't you find it ironic, you are spending hours, posting pages of content. yet you have managed to rank up less than 10 members. I'm a source, yet I have managed to rank up 2-3 members. somebody else is giving 50 merits in bulk and is ranking up 10 members every day spending less or the same amount of time and effort?

I really do need two accounts. Jet Cash is the serious one, and  I've got some projects that I want to start, and some of them I will bring to the forum for discussion. When I'm posting as Jet Cash, I really don't want to see all the posts that annoy me and slow me down. I guess it's unfortunate for those members I put on ignore that Jet Cash seems to get all the sMerit to award, and if they are on ignore, then I don't see their posts to consider them for merits.

I use Talk merit to look through the boards if I have a bit more time, and want to look at a few threads that may contain some interesting stuff. I use it for discussions about merit, and I'll add a page on the website to comment on the interaction between posting, activity, merit, trust and reputation.

Merit is a strange product, and I've thought quite a lot about it, and how many things in real life are analogous to it. Reflection on the Bitcoin Talk merit system can help you in your daily social interactions if you are capable of understanding the associations.

The Talk Merit projects

You view this forum as a competition. That's your problem. I don't know what you get from earning and spending fake internet points, but it seems to make you happy, even at the expense of insulting and devaluing other members. Don't you find THAT ironic? My whole purpose behind the movement of my challenge is for the betterment of the forums. Yet you view it as a threat. Why? You seem to think that merit can and should only be distributed by merit sources. How about you focus on doing what you do best, and I'll continue to help make the forums a better place? Your ability to terrorize me and anything that has to do with me shows how big of a hardon you have for me, yet you're effectively doing nothing constructive to rectify the "problem" that you seem to think I'm curating. Well, except for whining about it and sounding like a manchild every time you post something. You're contributing to the problem by posting nonsense repeatedly. Focus on a solution, rather than just contributing to the spam. Because all you're doing is talking in circles without having brought forth any validity to your claims to and about me and my challenge and its participants.

Grow the fuck up, and take my nuts out of your mouth. It's becoming pathetic at this point.

Ranking up with Merits System is not that too difficult if your good at making posts.

Here's another Member who is now Full Member, Merit System is not a hindrance to Rank up. I proudly present Mr. iasenko. There is no doubt that this guy will made it to Sr. Member soon as he contributes well in the Forum.

I already saw few members here are already run up after the release of the merit system due to their daily constructive posts. I think if anyone here continues to write good posts day by day, he can rank up sooner. A lot of high ranked members and merit sources can do this job for everyone who make some useful posts or my informative to help people. So as long as you write good posts, you can reach the next rank more sooner.

I am not a prodigy member like nullius but I expect to reach 100 merit before the required activity to full member. Doable with few hours of research per week before posting.

You view this forum as a competition. That's your problem.

I view this forum as a place where people are trying to benefit themselves. for me is a road to matrimonial intercourse. don't lol, it's not fun using my hands anymore.

I don't know what you get from earning and spending fake internet points, but it seems to make you happy, even at the expense of insulting and devaluing other members.

You are doing pretty much everything to provide yourself and others with these fake internet points, you have a hardon for them like nullius had for alia. now spending your time on fake internet points seems to add value to members which I'm devaluing them with my insults.

My whole purpose behind the movement of my challenge is for the betterment of the forums.

Don't you find that ironic? you have a movement based on distributing fake internet points, claiming to do this for the betterment of this forum.

yet you're effectively doing nothing constructive to rectify the "problem" that you seem to think I'm curating

What else should I do? I have already slided your sorry ass challenge in my topic. I have already applied to become a source, I know why you haven't. because if you do apply and theymos rejects you, there will be no excuse for you to keep doing what you are doing.

Focus on a solution, rather than just contributing to the spam.

Solution, stop encouraging people to join your challenge to receive merits and for what? to rank up. what if there was no such a thing as merit? would you pay people to post high quality content to make a better forum? if you believe your participants would've posted without your challenge, go ahead and ask them to post just for the money and no merits. lets see for how long they could keep posting and you could keep paying them. if they are good in what they're doing, they will receive merits just like every other forum member with quality posts but not enrolled in your challenge.

You seem to think that merit can and should only be distributed by merit sources.

Yes. if you are not a source, you shouldn't have your supply refilled. either apply or stop what you are doing, because seems like there is a never ending supply to feed your challenge. you are the one refusing to apply to put an end to this spam of mine. either way, I have contributed, you'd either become a source or would stop doing this the wrong way. I believe that you are only doing this for your own benefit. I'm politically concerned, this is more about forum policies than personal grudge. I hope you understand it and would stop with your serious profanity.

Are there still others like nullius have already make to FULL MEMBER RANK with the current system or its just that the geniuses of this forum are only allowed to make it through that position?
~
So let us have a proof that there are someone else who already passed the hardships on getting merits for the FULL MEMBER Rank.
Here you go:
1. iasenko: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1291828
2. cerebro415: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1764494
3. dimplit: cerebro415
4. A potential one is Talk merit, which has been Newbie with 6 merits. Amazing!
And maybe more cases which I don't remember and don't have available list for those cases.

Wow. This is great, I thought that there were only two of them as I notice here in this section. Thanks for this information and I hope that sooner my account will be added on the list of those who passed the merit system  Smiley
This is more quitely a challenge even if it's not Smiley Now we already knew that there are so many people out there that still trying their best to make a quality posts. I hope newbies will take this as an example for ranking up with the new implemented system is not impossible.
