Bitcoin's price moves as per the free market decision. It is impossible to increase the price of bitcoin just by promoting it to everyone you know. Also it has lot of risks as well.  If your friends loose money after investing in it, you will be blamed for that. I am sure you are talking about butterfly effect here that goes well with lifestyle brands, but not with cryptocurrency.

The best we can do to use facebook, twitter and similar social media platforms. Try to share good and positive news about bitcoin as much as you can. If a major percentage of crypto community members start doing it, it may show some result.

The real change can come only when governments start adopting it. I mean not by the handful of governments but the major economies. That's when the bitcoin market will see a real change. Otherwise it is very very hard to do bring back the positivity in the crypto market by whispering campaign.

Yes the governments need to adopt it. And We are seeing that governments are already coming to make bitcoin able to work in their states for that they are making some regulations to make it suitable according to their financial laws but people start to afraid from it and they again start to sell their coins. we also need to explain to the people that do not afraid from these regulations and have to explain to them that with that these governments will make bitcoin suitable for to legalize in their states.

In some point it is good to increas the BTC price but I think it does not affect much because promotion of bitcoin is not easy. At the same time, there is just a small portion to be added in case you can gather people to invest.
The reason behind the FUD news and price expectation of the analysts as well as the popular people in order to attract the people to buy BTC. Because the greater demand of bitcoin, the more its price surge.

I did this at some point but it seems people around me are too greedy that they are only concerned about winning and making money without considering the option of them losing at all. What they asked in common is " if I should invest x amount of money, how much will I get back?" The moment I can't offer such assurances, they bolt which is win-win as the market can do well with the people already involved while I can sleep in peace without being bothered about what explanation I would give in situations like this.

Without mincing words, the push needed for price to increase is new set of people coming on board because every other strategy is lame. ICO is not making the necessary push, crypto related ads are banned, fork coins have been turned to jokes which could give a boost and news from most corners are not encouraging. We should not just get tired for the good of the market.

My Wife is always talking to others about Bitcoin and telling them just to hedge a little of their savings into it. The problem is we are seeing in Bitcoin the same thing like in all financial markets. There are the big rich whales and the rest of the Bitcoin holders. A small group of people control a large amount of Bitcoin, so as long as that happens and continues, we will see price manipulation happening to the core and never ending cycles of boom and bust. Although now I do not see any boom for a long time and have a not so good short to medium term outlook on the future of Bitcoin.
