I think the more people involved the more likely it is to succeed.

You need the gpu and asic miners on board to become mainstream (unfortunate for me as i dont have an asic and my hd 6870 isnt the fastest miner out there)

With the new version of wallet I found 1 block at a 3 hour.
The first version found 3 blocks for 1 hour.
