I'm not agree. Basically after releasing GPU miner price should go up. People, that used their CPUs to mine SKC before, now can't mine a lot, so they will try to sell on higher price. And if some decide to use GPUs for mining SKC instead of LTC ot other scrypt coins, he will try to get higher profit, than from mining LTC on the same hardware. And because of such risk price would be really high.
I mined Skeincoin on all my CPUs for a week and earned about 2k conis. Now I stoped LTC mining and switch all my GPUs to SKC. So I'm loosing some money, that I could earn on LTC, and will try to even higher profit because such risk. And I will wait for Skein market cap of about 2 millions $ (probably 0.25 - 1$ per coin) in the next few month.

I tried following the steps made up by Gielbier and Snoopdoug.

After installing the steps made up by Gielbier and Snoopdoug I cant seem to proceed.

When I hit the gcc command, I get syntaxerrors for skeinhash.so. after which do not know how to proceed. I have tried looking it up at different sites but I cant seem to make it work


No need to mention that im just started programming i suppose!

Can you give more details on your errors? I've tried to run it under Win7x64 and it worked. The only issue was amdocl.dll I had to replace it with older version, but the issue with it came up during miner start. The build itself was smooth. I've PM'd you compiled skeinhash.so library.

hi there, you get the error ``I get syntaxerrors for skeinhash.so.`` because you did forgot to compile that library.... you`ll need to have skeinhash.sh file after you copmpile it I think... at least thats is in linux
