• What kind of curve uses SKC for its PBKDF?
• Is there any blockchain explorer with its corresponding API available?
• Is there any python address generation implementation available?

Skeincoin crypto is the same as Bitcoin's save for the PoW. You can use bitcoin-abe and vanitygen with it (if vanitygen is what you mean by address generation).

Skeincoin crypto is the same as Bitcoin's save for the PoW. You can use bitcoin-abe and vanitygen with it (if vanitygen is what you mean by address generation).

I'm not looking for a Vanity URL, i'm more interested in generating wallet addresses in pure python to sell my goods . Vanitygen uses C-Python extensions which are a no-no in my current environment. I'll have to check the code tonite

Hi everyone,

today my Antminer U1 arrived and I actually bought it for mining SKC. But i cannot use it with CPU- or GPU-miner. I just managed to mine some SHA-256 coins using BFGMiner. But that miner does not support the skein-encryption.
So I wanted to ask if anyone knows if it's possible to integrate the skein-algorithm in the BFGMiner? Someone already did that for the CPU- and GPU-miners, right? So why not for BFGMiner 
At the moment I am using CPU-miner with a speed of around 1 MH/s....
With that speed it will take forever until I can buy a pair of Skeinsocks

No mining software will let you mine SKC on your ASIC miner.  The current ASICs only work for SHA-256 coins; this algorithm is different.
