Hello can anybody explain to me constant differences between exchange rates on biggest Bitcoin exchanges? I mean the rate on Mt. Gox is always about 5 - 15 USD / BTC higher than on BitStamp and another 5 USD or so higher than on BTC-E.

Why is that and why do someone uses BitStamp or BTC-E for selling his Bitcoins then? I am trying to chose the exchange and make sense of these differences.

Thanks.

Consider some other factors as well:

1. The transaction fees for deposits, trades and withdrawals
2. The policies regarding minimum amounts to withdraw.
3. The available methods for getting cash in and out.

This has been handled elsewhere, but the reasons are basically that Mt.Gox has problems getting dollars out.
