There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I started a few weeks ago mining at mining4all and have been slowly learning more ever since.
I think I'm going to get a decent video card second hand soon and do a lot more than I can with my underpowered CPUs.

I've been member of this pool for a few weeks after my last pool got DDOS'ed, have to say I'm impressed with the speed of the site and the way the administrators try to do what's best for the pool (switching from PPLNS to PROP).
