I'd like to know which hardware you're undermining rvn, whether with AMD or Nvidia, and how many you do per day with how many cards .

--gpu-platform 1 > It said: "Started sgminer 5.5.5-gm-a", "*Using Jansson 2.7" and then no more. In other words, it sort of just not moving.

Any other possible solutions?

Just wait, it takes a while to build kernels for your GPUs.

I read through a lot more info and indeed, it took about 60 to 90 seconds for it to build the kernels and it eventually runs without any problem.

Thanks.

I'd like to know which hardware you're undermining rvn, whether with AMD or Nvidia, and how many you do per day with how many cards .

Im Mining With AMD cards..

Three to be exact

2 x Asus RX 550 2gb Self made Custom Bios underclocking the Gpu core to lower heat
1 x MSI RX 550 2gb Same veriaty Bios but for Different Card Vendor Due to Different Ram Type

Cards a Underclocked from 1138Mhz to 1056Mhz which prevents them from thermal Throttling....

I get 1 Mh/s From each card at under 27watts per card running from Motherboard with no 6 or 8 pin PCI-E Cable.

"amount i do" thats a tough question because it depends on Amount of miners on pool, amount of hash submitted per Block found on pool (if in one of those) and percent contributed by said other miners. Unelss your Planing on solo Mining which is just a bit too late for most small rig Miners.

So yeah thank you for the question....

One thing is sure the project is for investment for real long termed goals like at least one year holding will be good way. Still large majority is sorting out mining issues and focus is on this part. Those non technical persons can use situation to grab in constant process because price overall will be in the same range. In comparison to traditional fixed term deposits waiting for one or two tears still best for RVN holders.

There are many people that are renting hash power from cloud services. They pay a lot for it so in my opinion they must think that Ravencoin is worth investing in this project

If that would be true, why not just directly buy RVN instead of buying expensive hashrate to mine it on high  difficulty?

From what I gather from the whitepaper, Ravencoin is based on bitcoin code. With blocks being mined 10x the speed of bitcoin, is the halvening still every 4 years? Or would it become every 4.8 months? (4years x 12months / 10x the block mining speed)

Threeeyed Pool issue update from Discord pinned message 1 hour ago:
I talked with Zim and asked what was delaying the payments. He said it's because the payments have built up and are too large to do automatically. The other guy (Austin) who is in charge of all the programming is on Easter vacation right now and doesn't have access to his laptop, so he's been helping Zim fix it remotely which is taking longer than usual. He said he's sorry for the delay but everyone will get paid as soon as the issue is resolved

Has anybody some new info? I have got payied last time 4.4.2018 around 22:00 (my local time), since then nothing. Its almost day and half and issue is still there.

This was 2 1/2 hours later

Threeeyed Pool issue update from Discord:
Ok guys i am home and i am working on a solution to the payout problem. I do not know how long this is going to take me to do. The pool programmer is on easter vacation and i am doing my best with what i have.  All funds are perfectly safe, and everyone's shares are accounted for.  With that said. Now is probably a good time to seek out an alternative pool. I appreciate you all, and i really am sorry for the inconvenience. I am usually always around and today i was busy. I will be around this evening working to resolve the issue.

Thank you for the Reply...

Over the last hour I have had four payments in the 130's catching up a good amount of what was not paid.  I suspect there is more to come.

I have had faith that all would be fixed and it was.

Give him a break? Why? I'm missing a 1,000RVN. I'll give him no break, he is charging a fee and I'm out coins.

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

oh yes im giving him a break and switched pools to suprnova. if this would have bene a 0% fee pool the situation would be different.
if you charge, you have to deliver. least of all communication. whats happening, whats the issue, when will it be fixed.
the loss of trust is complete. at this point even if the missing rvn are being payed out eventually im done with it.

Exchange  || Twitter  ||  Discord

Exvo is a newly released digital asset which has also just released its own exchange platform, which we would like to invite Raven too!
Raven has been added and is open for trading, any issues please let us know or even jump in our discord where we are most active.

Exvo.io Trade RVN/BTC
In my opinion, I wouldn't use this exchange or vouch for it.  I won't be adding it to the original announcement.  My own 5 minutes of due diligence shows that there is literally zero volume, the exchange is about 2 days old and there is no information about who the are or why we should trust them with our coins.

My advice to the RVN community, skip this one and head to Graviex.

From @BruceFenton
@everyone Volunteers wanted:  Volunteer to serve as liaison to exchanges.  Ravencoin is receiving a LOT of requests and interest from exchanges.  Unfortunately most request that an "official" representative contact them. Since this is decentralized and open source there is no official and there is no one "authorized" to deal with exchanges.

If someone from the community wants to volunteer to serve this role they can.
Should be knowledgeable about tech/ dev and exchanges and able to help exchanges with tech issues, integration etc.

Of course there is 0 volume as Raven was only added 15 minutes ago. If traders don't wish to use our platform so be it, just giving everyone an option to trade on a platform that doesn't charge large fee's to get listed Smiley
