So far on discord, the rumor on how RVN from 3I was distributed: they took average shares for those who kept mining there during all the problematic week. Even though, everyone was recommending to switch pool, If you switched pool, you are the ones who didn't received their coins because your shares got diluted through hundreds and hundreds of blocks... That would be very unprofessional if true.

If that's true, I think calling it unprofessional is being kind, as 3I themselves were telling people to mine elsewhere until everything got sorted out.

That thing happend to me. I got only 92 RVN form 1704 RVN.

So many scams are related to this project / community leaders. From escrow scams (over 1mil rvn was stolen), pool scams (777pool and now threeeyed pool). And leaders of this project are doing nothing about this...

We don't want leaders - we want this to be sorted(or not) via the community. Saying that the Devs have stepped in and trying to mediate. Which is wrong in my opinion.

Since a while now the price is not moving a lot. Still around 500-600 Satoshi mark. Hopefully it will change soon and it will go up.

you do know the utility fork isn't for @ 6 months...  why would the price go up?  It's like having a car that doesn't work...

After staying on 3i to the end, wondering if I would get my past due RVN's (I did) we were transferred to Virtopia that had the exact same non-payment issues.  I waited for 21 hours or so for payments to come through but they did not so I left to go to Ravenminer.  Ravenminer worked perfectly from the start; I guess I have found a new home. 

Virtopia, about 26 hours from when we were switched by 3i paid out what seemed to be owed.  It seems as if they, despite a less than auspicious transfer of the 3i miners, have finally brought themselves current.  It seems as if they are a responsible pool that makes good on their past due coins.

I am not satisfied with that answer, I lost about 1.500 Ravecoins, somebody has to pay for that. I don't have free electricity.
Raven team put threeEyed as OFFICIAL POOL, now STAND BY THAT and pay me back what you owe, simple as that, period.

I believe a scam is a scam when everyone or many people at least get scammed. 3i had around 3000 miners at some point with 5000 workers. I don't see 3000 people angry on this, just a bunch.

I'm one of the ones who got his coins from 3i in the transactions that they said will even things out. Some of you, sorry to hear that honestly, lost coins. More or less. Even i believe i lost around 50 coins with all these issues but i don't think it's gonna be so awful.

Now going back to scam, maybe 3i wanted to try one (highly doubt it) but you can't say that ravencoin is a scam project just out of that. That is going over the top on this for no reason...

In my opinion, if all is respected as they planned, Raven will be a nice interesting project. Will it be the currency of the future.....dunno. Does it have the potential for that....not really, but it is a good platform for stock shares. I've said this before and i stand by it. It's an awesome platform for stock shares, for game cards, for vouchers etc etc. Wouldn't go so far as seeing it be good for cars but i may be wrong.

I'm pretty sure that most people who had issues with 3i went to Zim threatening and cursing and all. I wouldn't help people like this if the issues were during a family crisis (again here assuming Zim didn't lie, don't see why he would do that).

Take a step back, relax, think that these people are humans in the end and think what you would've done in his place.

P.S.: if you would've scammed people and are scared of being scammed, that's projection. It's your damn fault for something like this so see a shrink.

There are no official pools. There is no leadership role in Ravencoin that protects you from this. first of all this is crypto, YOU are responsible for your decisions, some are good, some are bad, some you can't do much about. But YOU are responsible for risk management.

i have never mined for 3i, so i can't comment on the specifics, but if my pool does not pay out as scheduled, i instantly switch my miners to another pool. this would result in a loss of 1 hour of work, IF that pools does not pay out.

If you don't take precautions ( much like backups of files on your computer ), expect to get burned.

After getting paid some I am also writing off around 250 coins. The pool has nothing to do with the coin itself, it's still the same project as before. RVN consistently remains one of the best coins to mine currently even after bit of a price sell off. It is still one of the most promising projects with an incredible community and astounding growth given the complete lack of promotion.

Once the pool fell over I still mined another 18 hours before I made the jump to another one. Let it go now, next time a pool looks like it's falling over GTFO and join somewhere else.

Like you and many others, I received some coins finally but it was approximately 700 less coins than what the ThreeEyed mining website stated as my immature balance.  I gambled staying with the pool even though I knew payouts had stopped and possible trouble was looming.

I gambled and lost around 700 raven; for all the others like me, live and learn and like ltlfish said, just got to let it go and learn from the experience.

Yeah every day you mine might not offset electricity; that's the gamble with mining early on altcoins.  Could be worth nothing, pool loses your shit, coin fails before exchange, dev scams; a whole bunch of shit.

this is where you are so wrong.

RAVENCOIN does not have a team that has a pool. it's an OPEN SOURCE, COMMUNITY based coin. so ALL the risks and rewards and problems that come along with it, are 100% on YOU.

Noone is holding your hand, and if you can't deal with that, i think you should stop investing money you can't miss into crypto. Here it is all in YOUR hands.

you decided to keep mining a pool that stopped paying out, maybe because you are lazy, maybe because you thought OMG WHEN LAMBO and got blindsided by your own responsibility to have failsafes. Ravencoin did not scam, Ravencoin did not shut down the pool. if you want to report Bigzim for theft, report him to the police.

I do suggest @shiggidy to remove 3i pools from the list, you can't connect to it anymore but it would be nice if this would get updated quicker to avoid confusion.

I'm leaving RVN not because of their official pool messup, but mostly because of those toxic fanboys that will blindly defend incompetency so their dear coin can stay hyped. Those devs are hiding behind a bunch of overhyped fanboys that systematicaly shutdown legitimate concerns from others. I've seen this fanboy disease spread to so many other coins it the past few months, I can't stand those blind noobs. Goodluck and goodbye.
