Price of raven is lowered too much, what are you going to do marketing side? contact a large exchange? .

This was my concern mid last week, and I switched back to mining my normal coins.

I initially started mining shortly after launch as an investment. This coin seemed like a "hidden gem" among other mineable coins, so I didn't mind if I was mining at a loss.

Now I'm not so sure...

Ask yourself: what changed?

More problems with threeyed and people are still in it? is this for real? I can't believe how stup** people can be, obviously they can. No wonder RVN value goes down every day.

BigZim keep stealing from them!!! when they don't learn once, do it again and again and again, they won't learn ever! keep it up, you'll make a lot of money through Ravencoin project. Funny, but I support you know LOL.

PROVE IT or STOP the Slander!

BigZim closed the mining pool days ago. Paid everyone what they were due. He is/has been on discord looking up everyone's account, one by one, that claimed they were shorted. Turns out that BigZim did all that could be done, stole nothing, helped everyone.

So before you slander him - prove it.

http://mine.threeeyed.info/workers/RN3yyFxxWeSzeT3FtDLsKSAmY32MvT142d

Unpaid.  I accuse no one of theft.  I am owed RVN by 3i.

Sign a message using private key to that account. Send it to BigZim and see what happens.

Thanks.  I’m not concerned about the 4 bucks but the statement was made that BigZim paid everyone out. I was not paid out.  It is a small amount but I’m not going on discord or sending him a signed message.  He should just pay it it is obviously in the database.  And that pool should never have been listed on the original ANN as a “community supported” pool.

I’m only writing it here because people should know that the right thing was *not* done.   Maybe it was attempted but not accomplished. So if there is a future pool run by BigZim people can make their own judgment.

Tonight I was notice very weird situation. This address on https://rvn.hash4.life/address/RWXTRxy1zmzwZCqM3K2VU9Cv81fB1SNfPK show 97.150.000 RVN coins (in this moment) and the same address on the other block chain explorer http://explorer.threeeyed.info/address/RWXTRxy1zmzwZCqM3K2VU9Cv81fB1SNfPK shows 'only' 3.350.000 RVN

Could someone give us competent explanation?

Totally agree. I'm also missing around 400 RVN from threeeyed http://mine.threeeyed.info/workers/RWxkpjFa8SAAMeK1L2ZaWj8zXxmnDqcGzq
I'm not on discord and not planing to sign in.

Threeeyed was listed here as an official community pool

Is 3eyed explorer acting weird to you too? It tells me that my last payment was 11 hours ago. I see txid's on ravenminer but none of these payments after are visible on 3eyed's explorer and goddam ravenminer's explorer is so fucked up it only lets you to search txid's, not addresses. (or i couldn't figure it out somehow)

For example, last payment txid is this: (minutes ago)
b882f0d08a6e941b9942d0d3568ecf0a350ae9969c59af2e842c80c4b9073753

The other txid before: (few hours ago)
f6fcfe8f3f285ed8afaa0b27abdaedb78db711cc122a13cabbb4e4b8c6d245dc

But when i enter my address, 3eyed's block explorer don't show me these payments. Any idea what's going on? I also couldn't find an alternative block explorer.

Raven address is this: RTam4qSTrdWgYRSEdXKdV5Ekjq8qDB5EwN

edit: damn i see now these tx's don't have any confirmations and why the fck is that? is it ravenminer's turn to scam us now?

Check the block height and date.
3i is a bit behind.
Try.
https://rvn.hash4.life

rvn.hash4.life died too. My last 2 tx's are missing.

They are all lagging
We need the actual site holders to sort\answer why.

At the time of me Checking block height:

Stats Page:
https://www.rvnstats.info          171,904

Explorers:
http://explorer.threeeyed.info/   171,369
https://rvn.hash4.life/               171,473
https://t.co/pGJAfPug81            171,475

At the bottom left of the explorers there is a block number so compare that with last transactions in the list - you should know that the difference will hold missing transacations.

For now...
If you just have a transaction to lookup - these sites seem to be bee keeping up with the blocks - but txn or block height searches only
https://miningpanda.site/explorer/RVN
http://www.ravenminer.com/explorer/RVN

Also within your QT wallet you will be able view your own transactions.
Help -> Debug Window -> Console Tab
Command: gettransaction <txn ID>

I've been mining at https://mineit.virtopia.ca/

The pool is only at 14GH - but has been very lucky. I'm liking it better than the other pools I've been on.

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

Ravencoin (X16R) has been added to whattomine.com - which should be helpful in attracting new miners.
Can I mine Ravencoin with my AMD 470/ 570 graphic cards? I have never mined coins with the algorithm.
Thanks for your hints, OgNasty.

Yup.

Yes, use GatelessGateSharp, its the fastest  AMD x16r at the moment, just tweak the algo setup under " optimize".
You will get 8Mhs + as average if RX 580, I don't know RX570 as I don't have.

what hard fork

"The core developers are currently focused on building the asset layer which will allow Ravencoin to facilitate the transfer of assets.  There is a hard-fork planned for the network to implement this additional asset layer in around October/November 2018 time frame.  This hard-fork will not create multiple coins as it will be an upgrade and the balance that you currently have will be transferred over to the new chain.  No additional coins will be given out from the fork."

I'm kicking around on www.omegapool.cc
I kind of like it. There are lulls e.g 14 hrs but then there is an influx of 4 or 5 blocks then a couple more later in the day. With current numbers of miners and 30 MHs I get around 22 coins per block. So I'm on par with what I was getting per week on other pools
If we can get a few days without the lulls I'll sneak ahead.
I messaged the pool on their chat to see if they can analyse if it is certain algos that are causing the lulls.

Hi, I am wondering what are the better cards hashing at?
I have 1070 at 70TDP +150 core +500 mem I am getting about 9MH/s per card.
I want to buy 1070ti or 1080, but I am not sure about the hashrate.
On whattomine I see it should be 8MH for 1070, 10MH for 1070ti and 10.5MH per 1080
On ravencalc it is 7.5MH 1070, 9.5 for 1070ti and 12 for 1080.

I red here, that whattomine should be closer to real performance, but from cost perspective I am wondering what to buy next 1070ti or 1080. Same TDP but slightly lower hashrates 0.5 according to whattomine, but 3.0 according ravencalc. Which numbers are real.
