Does anyone else think that rvnstats is broken again?

Edit: it's 300 blocks late (5 hours). talking about the general stats not pool stats.

Hi all,

last night sent about 10k of rvn to my wallets in cryptobridge, and amount was confirmed in less than 5 mins ( SUPER GREAT).

this morning i sent again but only 60rvn. Been about 8 hrs, still not confirmed yet. is it normal for RVN ?

cheers,

Does it show"Connected" , on the bottom right, of Cryptobridge?

Can i suggest all the miner devs consolidate on a single algorithm string for benchmarking purposes?

there are wildly different ones used for it, and this makes it really hard to test for stability and actual performance gains on the miners. i have to run 2-4 hour benchmarks to get average hash rates

I really hope they won't do that. Can't say i'm sorry to hear that it takes so much to benckmark it.

Hello everyone! Some of the Raven developers will be conducting a live IAMA on Reddit on Tuesday, April 24th from 5:00pm-6:00pm EST. Come one, come all and bring your questions!

SOOO ...

For those of us that do NOT use reddit or have any inclination to use reddit is 'tough titties buddy'?

Or will there be a transcript here for those that are actually on BCT?

#crysx

That's a great question. Depending on how many questions come in, we might not want to post a wall of text here as a transcription, but we could probably have a new section added to the wiki page with transcripts for any AMA's done by community members.

Also, our goal is to live stream the meetup, but at the very least we are planning on recording it and uploading it to youtube for people who were not able to attend.

What would be the benefit of not doing it?

Just found out about Ravencoin from a friend, didn't have much time to check it out properly yet. Is it true that it gives better returns then any other coin atm?

Not exact science okay. But a 42% variance is a bit extreme, no? And it's been over a week like this. Honestly wondering if the 0% fee is being hidden. Just realized forgot to mention this is for RavenMiner.com pool.

FWIW, I've used a few and am very happy with Rushhour Mining. Smaller, but good pool owner, 0%, and good group.

Both these ideas are good.

Especially the youtube video upload, considering that none of the FaceBook videos work on this OS and various browsers as well as most other sites.

BTW - CWI-Pool systems are almost ready to add new pools - including RVN. Not long now.

Thanks,

#crysx

If your not happy with one of the other 57 58 miner options (I see Silent Miner just released a new miner); for those who care about closed sourced mining software that "flies" and "this bird must fly:"

Enemy released 1.08 on Discord
https://discordapp.com/channels/421031368751972362/421117688920670219

Link to his software --> https://mega.nz/#!5WACFRTT!tV1vUsFdBIDqCzBrcMoXVR2G9YHD6xqct5QB2nBiuzM

I guess the race is on...

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

Seeing that Enemy 1.08 has been out four only a few hours, Proof?
(just asking, because if you can prove you are faster than 1.08, I'll switch)

I really like ravencoin and x16r algo. The assets idea is good too.

However, why should I use raven over ethereum for assests? What are the advantages?

I would try a different pool. I've mined at Ravenminer for a while. I earned about what the calculators estimated + - 10ish%, but my hash rate is a bit larger than yours. Same at Suprnova too. It's the smaller pools where I had better results - like RVNPool (closed), Threeeye (Closed) and now Virtopia.

Try a different pool on the same Continent that you live in.  Ravenminer and Suprnova are the large pools. Yiimp, Panda, Cryptoparty are medium pools. Pickaxe, Virtopia, and minepool are small. Watch out for any pool under 10 GH.

I find rvn calculator spot on, at least for my cards on Suprnova, 3 1070s about 120 coins a day...I found that you need to give a pool some time before making decision...too many variables are in stake , but if pool is ok and pays out, miner solid and doesn't crash or have too many rejected shares, 120, 130 140 coins who cares. I would gladly give up those 20 RVN for a piece of peace of mind
