As Raven assets are first class citizens, how are transaction fees paid? Is there an integrated DEX in Raven that handles exchanging assets to miner preference, or how is that handled?

Hello, is it still possible to mine Raven with  gtx 1060 with only 3gb of memory?
It was possible in the past... but I am not familiar with this coin, which I believe recently had a new fork.

Cheers.

On a pool, yes. If you mean solo mining you may never find a block. I'd look into the profitability of doing so though. It depends on your electricity rates.

The whole “profitability” thing isn’t a straight up yes or no question. It is a timeframe question. Even if short term it isn’t profitable to mine, it _could_ be in the long term if you HODL. Plus mining even when it isn’t immediately profitable grows the network, which increases the future value of RVN.

Don’t believe me? Just ask anyone who “unprofitably” mined BTC when it was at $1000.

Lol that goes without saying. But would I rather mine RVN that cost me 10 cents each, or just buy some for 5? From a personal selfish standpoint, if your electricity rates are high, just go buy RVN.

The new discord seems to have most people that added a lot to the community in the old cencored one. For uncensored chat, we'll see you in: https://discord.gg/Va496V. No bans, just a time-out room if you get a little rowdy or post someone's dox.

I whole heartedly agree with the 5 vs 10 cent thing. Since I have a day job I can afford to loose money now supporting the network. I can’t code, but I can donate a little electricity
when prices go to down, people panic. there is a psychological minimum, after which interest in the coin disappears. traders and miners should think about it.

What's happening on the 31st exactly? I'm not sure what's driving this recent price jump (outside of perhaps a Binance listing recently?) - couldn't see anything else on their twitter feeds specific to 31 October.

When Raven listed on a new exchange (Bittrex, Binance) the price pumped. Now the key date is 31st October. Every one hope a new pump but  i think there will not be a pump. Because most of people dont aware of that date. Most of buyers bought RVN when they saw it is increasing and said himsef "I should buy some and hold". I think the Raven Whales are using for pump&dump action those dates only.

I think Changelly is more trusted way to buy BTC and than move it any exchange where we want to trade it. XST has no volume to do this and it is not a useful service.

I think many people bought with anticipation that the asset layer going live on the 31st will result in media coverage that will expand the awareness of RVN and bring in a swath of new buyers.  It could be a case of, "buy the rumor, sell the news" or it could be a great entry point before a media blitz.  Time will tell.

The recent pump had nothing to do with the mainnet launch. Its linked to CZ randomly listing it on Binance because of the coin potential.

CZ Binance
CZ Binance
@cz_binance
Back to listing.  Ravencoin, no ICO, community project, humble people, no listing fee.

A positive comment from a reputable crypto personnality plus the listing on Binance made everyone want to own sone RVN coins.

Next is mainnet launch along with crypto 10 years anniversary... I hope for another increase. Hope I am right.

I wanted to ask something similar.  Is the best miner for Nvidia currently Enemy? I've been using Nevermore. Seems like my numbers are lower than others.

XRP is for Finance RVN for all else. Banks won't use any open source coin they like to be in total control. A lot of others have tried to get the banks involved all have failed so far...

Is there a how-to or something for running a ravend testnet install and then how to interface it programattically with raven-cli? Any plans for RVN Dex? Thanks for answer on my questions.

what miner better t-rex or enemy?

t-rex is more stable for now. Enemy miner is also good but is so choppy. And for that reason i think t-rex miner is better for now.
And there are only 2 days for the asset creation. Lets see what will happen..
