Indeed that is happening right big whales like to take profit when they get chance to do this. But Raven is looking more strong than before and it moving out of expectation I think we could see this rising again after this correction because it will make this more healthier.

I thought same thing last time when RVN was listed on Binance (late October), but after almost 1000 sat, we found Raven bellow 300 sat only 3 months later.
Raven inflation is really big, every day new 7.2 million of Ravens are mined and at todays price, that's 216k USD needed daily to flow into RVN, only to stay on this price level. It's ~1.5 mil USD weekly. Lot of money for bear market.

It is a strong resistance, hence Ravencoin will have to test it so many times till the beautiful day on which the coin will break the resistance.
Strong resistance often requires so many test round to break it.

This is second time when Raven is approaching 1k satoshi range. Last time we saw it returning back which we can call dump. But overall market's situation is looking different now. Another possible scenario can be it to find support at higher level this time. I have never seen this active twitter handle of Ravencoin this frequent communication can show difference.

Prediction is a risky game, some sort of risky game.
No one can predict exactly or even nearly exact things from time to time.
Of course, investors should have determinant stance for their investment decisions.

I don't think anyone can predict the next bull market by comparing patterns to the last bull market. The last bull market, for example, started despite the legal uncertainty. The next one could get started because of some positive legal implications.

What you can do is gather as much information as possible and derive proper conclusions based on that.

I know one of the moderators here, so no worries there, the token i want to swap has poor daily vol and buy support (otherside id sell 500k of it and buy RVN off Bittrex) , thats why im willing to do a straight swap for a token half its value.  One day the token i have will do fine, but i want to reduce exposure.

If you can use Bittrex than it doesn't make any sense to swap 1:1 with this coin. You can sell this on Bittrex and than convert all your amount into RVN that's more secure option.

I will bring back the topic of predictions and expectations because if you look at the market's current order we see many coins stable after getting doubled or even triple. This can be considered semi-bull run though can't be predicted exactly when it starts. I do fully agree that lot of development taking place around cryptocurrencies those will trigger next bull run. Ravencoin didn't decline as many people were expecting to re-buy at previous prices but it started to grow again that is positive sign.

Miners in this project get more profit than in similar projects with a stable and even rising price rate. Grin and beam, which also mines, falls in price, which means that the profit from mining also falls.
