Will a CPU i3 3220 with 16 GB ram be enough to mine ravencoin?
Can't buy for the moment, still under 18 i do not have a bank account yet.
Link me some faucet or sites where i can get a free ravencoin.

It's GPU mineable coin ... so don't bother with CPU ... Even if there exists any KawPow miner for CPU you will mine almost nothing.

Medici is calling it quits. Funding reduced from 720k/yr to 50k/yr (for 3 years). So RVN is on life support for 3 years then they pull the plug.

RIP

I was regretful for a time because I had dumped all my RVN for Bitcoin. Sometimes things work out for the better. It's nice to win some and luckily for me I have won more than I lost with shitcoins.

This article tries to put a positive spin on the Medici transition: https://tronblack.medium.com/ravencoin-update-2020-11-03-b3e229ebb880

But you guys are confident RVN will continue its downward spiral ? I picked up this coin because it was at some point very profitable to mine with Nvidia's, but I agree price action is pretty bleak,

It's slightly nauseating that Raven's main selling point now seems to be 'cooperation with Apple' apps, it's one of the weakest statements you can make about your own crypto currency...

You can mine Ravencoin at autoexchange mining pool Zergpool.com at 0.5% fee. Please use following commands for different mining options

...

Do you have monthly data, how does this pool compare to results you would get with Suprnova for example ?..

there is just 1 miner online now here ? Can you publish your personal results with solo mining, like hashrate and at least monthly RVN mined, so we can make a good comparison

nothing is worth mining anymore

RVN has always been a profitable coin to mine with Nvidia GPU's, one of the top contenders and sometimes the top crypto to mine in particular with 1080 TI's;

the long term price outlook is in question, but it's still one of the best choices for 470 series too (assuming KwH prices of approximately 0.12 USD), now that ETH 2.0 has begun...

For mining and sellnng yes, but buying rvn imo isnt a good idea.

Getting funding and good developers is tough in the crypto world and this project is losing both. Buying RVN at this point is crazy! Mine and sell this crap as long as the suckers are buying.

Sorry for your loss. But look at it like this... RVN's value keeps going down, so you lost only a fraction of what you could have.

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”
