I have mined bitcoin at bitcoinplus.com. I have about 0.07 BTC in my account. Now that I want to withdraw the BTC the website gives me an error message saying:

You do not have enough to make that payment. There is a transaction fee of 0.01 BTC

I have tried to contact Donny a couple of days ago about it, but I am getting no response.

Is anybody else experiencing difficulties of the same kind at bitcoinplus.com?

There have been some people mentioning the same when using Bitcoinplus.I have used it for sometime but realized that it took too much time to get to the .01 fee and dared not to waist anymore time. You should try one of the miners in question to get yourself going as I am sure the electricity that is required for the CPU isn't as effecient as it would be with a gpu.

I haven't had a problem with BitCoinPlus, although I haven't withdrawn anything in a month or so.    I just subtract the amount of the fee from the amount I'm trying to withdraw, and put that in the withdraw amount.       Thus, if I want .04 BTC, I make sure I have .05 BTC in the account and withdraw the .04BTC.

But like I said, if some shenanigans have started recently, I wouldn't have run into it yet.

Oh, I'm unhappy to hear this. Obviously CPU is a terrible way to mine for bitcoin, but I got a couple of payouts with BitcoinPlus before I realised the 0.01 withdrawal limit. Well, I was keen to get the coin I'd mined, and I happen to have access to a CPU where I don't pay for electricity, so I've been planning to build up to 0.01, then withdraw and bail out. (Currently at 0.0036, so it's going be another 3 weeks or so.)

But if that won't be possible, maybe I'll just bail now. Would anyone like my account?

In the website it says that since it have always been sending small amounts, the network now charges the website 0.01 BTC as transaction fee, which is very high, because I always make small transfers, and am charged only 0.0005 BTC per transaction.

OK, so it's going to be July before I get 0.01 bitcoin, which I could buy on Mt Gox or Intersango for less than 4p. Sod that.

I'm not actually paying for the electricity, but it's still being used (and air conditioned away), and making its own very modest contribution to global warming, depletion of fossil fuels, etc. Turned it off.

Anyone want a BitcoinPlus account with a balance of 0.00374884 BTC? Yours for the asking...
