Very nice compilation of info on GRC! Good job people! I am sure it will help the newbs.

All of us added a lot of Q&A to http://wiki.gridcoin.us/FAQ but it has gotten messy with time.

So, we structured the questions (nearly 60 already) into categories and sub-headings.

Please check for consistency and update info where you find necessary. Thanks!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

You can run BOINC during your pc's idle time and get rewarded in GRC for your BONIC contribution. See http://gridcoin.us or wiki.gridcoin.us for more information. You should be able to find what you need there, else just come back here and ask questions. We'll try our best to help.

Hey toshis.guru,

That is an awesome write up. It would be nice if there were 2 sections, one for GRC classic and one for POR GRC! GRC classic will be retiring around March. While POR (Proof of Research) GRC is the future!

It's okay I don't need them anymore. I posted my GRC address somewhere else too and now I have enough coins.

I recently had some problems but its OK now, so maybe I might help You somehow, as You helped me on CCT with Your tutorial. Set this all up is not as easy as start some crappy altcoin wallet, but I believe that most of troubles were caused with recent network issues. Network is fine now, so everything should go smoothly.

Don´t deal with crappy shitcoins and stop wasting electricity

This board is just the wrong place, there is a lot of improvement happening and news being announced to development group at https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/464-gridcoin-grc/ E.G. This week Rob defeated most of all orphans, another advantage of GRC being a Proof-of-Research + PoS2.0 coin, with methods he derived in a month of analysis. Only no PR yet. So, feel invited to get on board and read into it Smiley
