Does anyone have a link to a working OS X version of this wallet? I am doing research for free right now thorough boinc. I am happy to donate but I would not mind getting some crypto for it as well.

Thanks Trader. Looks like all the links there are dated or no longer available. I will keep donating until someone comes up with a mac compatible wallet. I have multiple sclerosis so who knows, I might even help myself out with it.

If you have GRC you should read this topic.

https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/11357-gridcoin-finance-project/

Having into account the shape this project is taking, maybe you will love it or maybe you will see it as the project which is going to kill GRC value, as me. But in any case, I think any GRC investor, researcher, should take a look at it.

Salute

Have you tried a real DEX??? But a real DEX like this!!!

I think everyone should take a good look as well. Lots of potential for the GRC Finance project.

In order to earn something both the wallet and BOINC have to be running.

But if you are just starting out, I would suggest to use the pool on pool.gridcoin.co , you will earn GRC regularly and don't have to worry about setting everything up.

Hello!

I'm really happy to see what you accomplished so far with this coin. I totally agree with the PoW waste of electrical + computational power that don't benefit society.

I'm a Nxt supporter and I would like to start a collaboration between the 2 communities. I'm not a either a developer or a core Nxt developer.

So, if interested, could please some Gridcoin Core developer join my proposal over the Nxt forum (https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/nxt-boinc/msg206734/#msg206734) and see what can be accomplished?

Thanks,

Hi MrCluster,

this is not the main Gridcoin Forum, it is here: https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/464-gridcoin-grc/

So it's probably better to post the suggestion there, I could also crosspost it for you.

What kind of collaboration do you have in mind?

Hi Spassbold!! Yes please repost my suggestion over the gridcoin forum.

I don't know how much you know about Nxt, so the degrees of collaboration could vary from just developing a BOINC plug-in to merging the 2 communities.  Wink

Hi MrCluster,

unfortunately I do not know much about Nxt. How would such a BOINC plugin for nxt look ike and what would be the role of Gridcoin in it?

We need the developers of the 2 communities to talk, cose I can only point to this (https://nxtforum.org/nxt-plugins/%28client-plugins%29-specification-developers-guide/msg162871/#msg162871).

Let's say that you have the knowledge of how Boinc works and we have the distributed computing in our roadmap (http://www.nxttechnologytree.com/nxt-technology/nxt-distributed-computing), so maybe we could speed up the development.  Wink

You should post your proposal in the main thread on cryptocointalk: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1331-new-coin-launch-announcement-grc-gridcoin/

Still unable to go to the download the research client on Gridcoin's site. I see some of the links are working now, I wonder if they are updating the site?
