How i fix wallet clock verify error. I try change my windows time and date to yyyy.mm.dd etcbut still verify error in wallet diagnostic...
I have also invalid cpid on wallet general page but diagnostig say its ok. Only clock verify error, all other passed....

i wait 24h but still errors...

Please forgive me for letting out my frustration here...

...and excuse me for language mistakes - I am not a native speaker.

But, could please someone explain to me, why this strange coin is still interesting for new users?

I started with it about two weeks ago, because I found the concept interesting.
I quickly realized that this coin has a lot to do with unexplained abbreviations, registering to BOINC or/and BAM etc.
I think I did everything right - I managed to set up a BOINC Manager, BAM work etc.
My Computer ran 24h/d for the BOINC, my Host has a 'RAC' of over 100 for 9 days now...
...all work is contributed and all projects worked for team Gridcoin...

But what never happened was the connection of my fully connected client to any 'Project' or 'CPID' or whatever
It seems like this coin actually is only a piece of sh.. - or gr..?

While writing I feel uncomfortable because you all will think that I did something wrong like all the other people having problems...
but what's the problem? what's the problem so much people have?
when trying to talk about this problem, the forum answers are all the same:

you have to join BOINC
you have to be in a BAM Project
this Project has to be whitelisted
you have to make sure that all references and connections between BOINC, BAM etc. and your wallet and your client are correct
and you have again to make sure that all these references (there are a lot) are correct
you have to be patient because these already set up connections take time to 'populate'... :/?
you again have to be patient because the populated stats take time to progress in the network to a primary block, created once a day...

you again have to be patient because bla...
you again have to be patient beacuse bla...
etc. and so on...

what's wrong with this coin - I'd like to know, really!

I have been very, very patient - and nothing happened to my client!
So I changed the f* GRC which I did put in my wallet two weeks ago back to something useable via C-Cex two days ago - it's really fun doing something with my coins which of course are not GRC anymore.

In my Wallet there are about 2 GRD left, waiting for the obviously never happening initial 'cookie' sending or however this piece of 0.1 is called.

It's the wrong place for writing this, I know...
but if some enthusiast could tell me, what's up with this coin and why it does not work for me - would be great
I really followed all of the instructions available - nothing helped!

Just discovered this coin. It's an awesome idea. I am in crypto more for the investing thing but now I plan to start mining some gridcoins. It's for a good purpose after all!

I started with boinc yesterday after watching some videos with Neil deGrasse Tyson i figured i could spare some power for the advancement of science, then i remembered gridcoin and decided id may as well try to get something back for it. I've downloaded the wallet set up bam joined the teams and have earned a few credits

the wallets all synced have i done something wrong as its listing my cpid then stating its invalid is there something else i need to do to link them or is this good?

edit: just found a post about invalid cpid... sorry

looks like i just needed to open the debug window and run execute advertisebeacon
