I just sent you 5 GRC. Enjoy!

Darn it, I have been researching to do mining, and my pc is not very
good at mining it turns out. I intend to get better gpu but for now,
not much mining going on.

I am missing out

I like the way gridcoin is sounding to begin, and I would like
some free gridcoins, please.

Give me lots to make me happier. Smiley

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The pool is great, but I am not sure anyone will mine without the Boinc subsidy.

What numbers are returning in the Mining Console? Anyways, try suggestions here that apply to you

http://www.gridcoinnetwork.org/troubleshooting.html

And if those don't work, if you used the .zip, try deleting the folder you extracted the ZIP and try downloading and installing the MSI instead since it should update your module automatically

I'm getting all zeros too...  Do we have to have boinc in the same directory as gridcoin?

Hi guys,
No, you dont have to have boinc in the same dir, it just has to be running active projects.

If all zeroes show in the mining console, specifically the "registered version", it is not installed correctly.  Try the lodctr /r command first, and if that doesn't work, try installing the MSI version.  If that doesnt work, try all the things suggested in the technical thread in this forum:
https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/464-gridcoin-grc/

Good luck.

I switched to reaper and I am getting better results, i have not had the "verified by network" error yet.

Ye I was getting quite a bit of stales. When i tried reaper it seems i am getting less.

In last 2 days I have 7 accepted shares and 6 rejectet (all time boinc utilization 100)

Is this normal? Or not?

Ok today I lost 3x150GRC as those were not verified by network  Angry
I upgraded my wallet and mining with reaper now...I hope it will go better  Wink

So far reaper is performing well, I hope my HD7790 will be able to solo-mine few more days Smiley
Overall it is going good, almost 2k mined  Wink

Statistics are on its way I think. Last I talked to him he was trying to integrate guiminer to the client and make some edits to it and he told me he's going to see if he can input some charts in there as well. So we'll see how it comes out in a couple of days Smiley

I think you can see some of the stats from the client if you type "getmininginfo" from debug window.
