Escrow... just a means of protecting both buyer and seller by locking the funds or holding them until conditions are met (in your case, when goods have arrived to the buyer and buyer confirms product is as advertised). It's a feature that p2p Bitcoin platforms like Localbitcoins have used to great success, and if you're looking to implement crypto, introducing an escrow system that also facilitates dispute settlements could be a "game changer" among competitors.

Not quite what I was suggesting but in the case above, Peddler could be that escrow. Not sure if Bitcoin smart contracts exist for trustless escrow, I know they do for some alts.

Thanks for the advice on this. We have looked at a number of crypto settlement solutions, including those that escrow.

Escrow in is something we are keen to include in our process. You are correct in that it would be difficult to realise true trustless smart-contracts for Bitcoin - but if someone is doing and have measurable success we are all ears!

We would like to facilitate the escrow or with a reputable partner, however we always consider that middlemen want a stake in the game - something we are keen to reduce as much as possible. We realise that for Peddler.com (besides regulatory - which we need & want to comply with in order to accept card/and various bank payments) it requires a certain amount of trust which we want to build up with the community, whilst implementing the feature suggestions you are all looking for.

Keep the advice coming, the team enjoys all your feedback, and its very much appreciated! Thanks again.

By no means I can speak for the whole community here, LOL Wink Anyway, I'd think GPUs would be quite popular, both from Nvidia and AMD. Anything in the range of 1060-1080Ti, for example. Also, cheap and reliable SSDs 60-480Gb, power supplies 800-1600W.

EVGA FTW3 and Zotac Amp Extreme I'd be definitely interested in, but again - I have no idea how much UK pound is and would have to go to another site to convert the price into understandable USD or, at least, Euro. And at given price it seems to be expensive.

Those prices were scraped by the member who posted the product on Peddler.

We will get our team to get deals posted in EUR or USD pricing and shipping, ultimately driving down the price through aggregating the demand.

I'd suggest you add a currency converter to the site, you can see how it works on computeruniverse. Very convenient.

We like that idea, Peddler does automatically localise store pricing based on the country selected.

Love the idea, and it's good to see jripper seems extremely knowledgeable on the subject. Always great when a legitimate business starts accepting cryptocurrencies.

So just to be clear on how this works, from the beginning (correct me if I'm wrong):
1) people vote on a product that they want
2) if enough people vote on it, then they get a deal from a supplier (is this guaranteed?)
3) everyone is able to purchase the item at the given price, but the more people join in the lower the price goes until it reaches the lowest price.

Makes sense to me, but there is nothing really shipped to the US yet, right?

Went through your FAQ but there does not any information regarding shipping.
Do you guys ship worldwire or there are restrictions on some items?
I also can't see what shipping options are available once we bought the item we wanted.

I must say it is a great concept, combining e-commerce with social media Smiley
Is Peddler only for physical product ? if possible I wanted to get Steam or Nintendo E-shop code added for my Video Game needs.

Hi guys! The shipping depends on the merchant and the products. If you let us know where you would like it shipped we can get the merchants to update, if you prefer to do this privately we recommend to contact us through Peddler.com

We have worked hard to get our first Graphics cards up available with Crypto (it currently ships free UK and EU):

https://www.peddler.com/product/asus-turbo-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-8gb-gddr5x-graphics-card-turbo-gtx1070ti-8g
Newegg £596

This one has a community unlock incentive (10-20 cards):
https://www.peddler.com/product/asus-cerberus-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-8gb-gddr5-advanced-edition-graphics-card-cerberus-gtx1070ti-a8g
Newegg £527 + 20(shipping)

My country are listed on my profile Smiley
I take it that these two cards comes from Newegg as your shipper, correct?
In that case unfortunately I have to pass these cards since I know for sure that Newegg don't ship to my Country.
Just a suggestion, It'd be better to put country restriction on each item to know where does it ship instead of contacting you manually, it save both the costumer and your Customer Support from unnecessary questions Smiley
Anyway, I'll be watching Peddler for a while, maybe something else caught my eye (Those wireless earphones are beautiful).

Hey! The cards are from our suppliers in the UK - not Newegg. We can have a look at your country and we would like to be able to ship world wide. One reason why we are decentralising all of our platform and AI algorithms to source products through crowds. Good luck with your ICO! And yes the headphones are cool!

I'm very interested in this one Jripper: https://www.peddler.com/product/asus-rog-strix-core-i7-7700hq-8gb-1tb-128gb-ssd-geforce-gtx-1050ti-4gb-15.6-inch-full-hd-gaming-laptop

Two questions:
Does it ship to Europe? And two, if I click "hold and wait" and enter my info, I only pay if the lowest price is reached? (is it automatic?) thanks
