More talks than codes seems quite fishy to me. I'd rather to see more progress in the product side.  They've got more than enough funds and attentions. Please concentrate on the developing now.

Seems pretty close.. Either way buying pts cant be a bad thing at these prices.. BTS is an experiment but can change the landscape.. but pts is a proven idea and as they release more
dacs pts should become more valuable.

Based on their regular updates things are getting close.  They have been active with conferences to help spread the word as you can see on their facebook page.

That chart helps clear up a lot of confusion, thanks.

I believe I read BitShares Domain is being renamed to .p2p.

Am I right to say, donating the PTS to become AGS right now is more worth it than holding PTS?

Depends. PTS is liquid and can be traded on exchanges. It would probably also have value in and of itself (as just another altcoin) unlike AGS. But if all you need is equity in future DACs, then you're right (check the numbers in any case though for that particular day when you want to donate).

Would be smart to buy and hold PTS right now until the next DAC snapshot is announced.  Once this announcement takes place you can value holding PTS or trading for AGS.

PTS is dirt cheap right now.  Look what happened when the BTS snapshot was announced.  This rise in price gave you freedom to hold PTS, trade PTS for AGS, or sell PTS all together for a profit and perhaps buy BTS after launch.

Compared to other alt's, PTS brings additional value and rewards those who hold long term.

True, but I guess the initial question is, then why not convert your PTS to AGS, and at the current rates, it seems like you can get about 3 times as many shares in the new DACs as PTS. That's why I say you need to look at the liquidity premium and determine for yourself if that's the path you want to take or not.

Looks like BitShares might be made liquid this week.  Great news for those who held PTS through the snapshot.  Can't wait to see the outcome of this 2.0 project.

PTS is always the safer route.  If no DAC snapshot is announced soon you could always trade for another crypto.

Is it still in beta? Afaik, there is no windows version unless you build from source yourself and even then there are issues that people are having saying that it is not working fully as intended. Any news on when the bitshares network will open to full functionality?

Reminder - Distribution on 31st May - Hold your PTS off-exchange

There is is a distribution taking place for PTS holders

The distribution date for LottoShares is at end of the day on May 31st.

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=4691.0

It is vital that you hold your PTS in a private wallet so that you control the private keys at the end of this month.

I will be trying to identify and remove balances held by exchanges, so they will not even be in a position to make a distribution of LottoShares.

Please remove your PTS from exchanges immediately if you want to receive your shares in LottoShares.
